Global Shapers Oslo, Norway's sole hub, is a part of the Global Shapers Community. Established by HRH Crown Princess Mette-Marit in 2012, it unites young change-makers from diverse backgrounds to work on local impact initiatives. The hub's mission is to develop and support projects that positively influence the local community... The Global Shapers Community, founded by Professor Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum in 2011, is a non-profit organization based in Geneva, Switzerland. Its mission is to empower young leaders aged 18-27 to actively shape local, regional, and global agendas... Our worldwide network consists of over 15 000 active shapers and 6430 alumni spread across 500 city hubs in 150 countries. Shapers collaborate in city-based teams to develop projects addressing various community needs. These projects encompass disaster response, poverty alleviation, climate change mitigation, and fostering inclusive communities.
