Heads up Taxidermy is based out of Gladewater, TX. Cody Burks (owner/taxidermist) is a graduate from the nations top taxidermy school, Central Texas School of Taxidermy, where he has learned the skills and attention to detail that possess quality work every time. After taxidermy school Cody was employed at Champion Ranch in Colorado City where he became the ranch foreman and a hunting guide. His time at the ranch gave him the opportunity to have many up close encounters with over 30+ species of exotics and whitetail that have given him the knowledge to make your trophy anatomically correct. He has also worked many hours in the metro plex best Taxidermy shop, Trophy House Taxidermy, where he has mastered the art of taxidermy. As hunters and outdoor enthusiasts he understands the importance of preserving your trophy in its most realistic state to capture that moment that you and your love ones will remember for a lifetime.
