Amos Muthui

Amos is a committed accountant with excellent numerical skills, a track record of producing clear and concise financial reports, and attention to detail. His experience has exposed him to managing accounting procedures, bank reconciliations, analyzing transactions, and preparing documents for audits. He has communication skills that come in handy when advising clients on financial matters. At Geoffrey Gitau & Co., Amos serves as an Accountant and supports the team in bookkeeping, bank analysis and reconciliations, tax computations as well as processing tax payments and returns. Besides preparing audit and accounting proposals, he supports in auditing functions and analyzes data to provide quantitative information on clients' financial position. He also audits financial transactions and documents, while ensuring compliance with financial policies and regulations. Amos has also worked in the retail sector where he refined his skills in accounting through general ledger management, petty cash processing, implementation of internal controls, preparing sales invoices, account receivables, and credit control duties. Amos is a Certified Public Accountant from KCA University. He is a flexible team player and works well with the team to ensure performance objectives and quality customer standards are achieved.

Her client portfolio includes research, investment management, architecture, publication, and various consultancy firms. Her professional strengths have been solidified by experiences in an international logistics company and in the NGO sector. Over the last 8 years, Eddah has worked at Geoffrey Gitau and Co., engaging in both accounting and audit assignments, with a specialty in KRA audits and iTax returns. She has conducted audits on financial statements, assessed the accuracy of accounts, and prepared reports that adhered to strict donor regulations. His outstanding contributions include designing finance structures with complete manuals, policies, procedures, reporting structures, and other internal controls. He has handled regional Statutory and Tax Audits and liaised with both internal and external auditors and Tax authority officials on complex accounting and tax matters across the region. Gilbert was also instrumental in the integration of the East Africa Firm to the Africa firm at Deloitte, where he worked as the Regional Finance Manager. At Geoffrey Gitau and Co., he is an audit manager and serves a portfolio of customers in the manufacturing and service industries.
