A central goal of LASSR is to become a key point of contact within the academic community for policy makers, business leaders, and organizations wanting to collaborate and conduct research on a pressing issue of public concern. LASSR aims to be the premier research laboratory for the Baltimore/Washington DC Corridor... LASSR's administrative structure includes a Director, Associate Director, Lab Coordinator, Postdoctoral Fellow, Graduate Research Assistants, and Undergraduate Research Assistants. LASSR has Faculty Affiliates in the University of Maryland system that span from computer science to public health as well as an Advisory Board consisting of University of Maryland alumni, community members, and policy makers.
