Abi High

Abi High is a Senior Analyst at Melior. Abi was previously an Investment Manager at Sarasin & Partners LLP in London from 2016 - 2021, managing discretionary multi-asset portfolios for US and UK clients. She was also part of the analyst team for the Digital Opportunities Fund, covering global mid-cap technology stocks. Prior to this Abi worked at Equity Gap, a Scottish Angel investment group, Goldman Sachs and Aberdeen Asset Management (before graduating). Abi received an MA Honours degree in Business and Accounting from the University of Edinburgh. She is a CFA charterholder and achieved distinction grade for the CISI Private Client Investment Advice and Management certificate (PCIAM, UK).

Adam Bowers

Adam Bowers is an Investment Specialist at Melior. Adam has nine years' experience in financial services. He was previously an Investment Specialist at Schroders Investment Management based in London, working with UK financial advice and private wealth firms to deliver multi-asset investment solutions including sustainability offerings. Prior to this he worked in institutional sales at global fund manager Dimensional Fund Advisors based in Sydney. Adam holds a Bachelor of Business (Economics) from the University of Technology, Sydney.

Carlos Castillo

Carlos Castillo is a Portfolio Manager at Melior. He has 19 years' experience in financial markets. Carlos was previously at Ellerston Capital where he was part of a six person team managing around $3b in Australian equities. He also worked as a portfolio manager at AMP Capital where he was part of a 10 person team managing more than $12b in Australian equities. Carlos' ESG experience includes time at AMP Capital helping to manage the Australian Equities Sustainable fund and a corporate strategy and sustainability role at CSR Ltd. Carlos has covered a wide range of sectors over the course of his analyst career including industrials, consumer discretionary, financials, healthcare, consumer staples and utilities. Carlos began his investment career on the sell side covering financials. Carlos received a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and Business Economics) and a Master of Commerce (Business Strategy) from the University of New South Wales.

Caroline Mellor - CMO

Caroline Mellor is the Head of Marketing at Melior. Caroline has over 17 years' experience in the asset management industry, directing and executing the marketing strategy across retail, wholesale and institutional channels. Before joining Melior, Caroline was with Magellan Financial Group from 2019-2023 and prior to this, has worked in senior marketing roles at Standard Life Investments, Fidante Partners, AMP and Colonial First State. Caroline has extensive experience across the marketing and communications spectrum, with a strong focus on brand management, product development, PR, sponsorships and events. Caroline holds a Bachelor of Arts (Media and Communications) from the University of New South Wales.

David Shelmerdine - Chairman

David is Chair of the Melior Advisory Council and is an industry expert on climate change, agricultural supply chains and sustainable development, food and land use systems. David is the Founding Director and Deputy Chair at ClimateWorks Australia which was established in 2006. He is also a Senior Advisor and Past President of the Gold Standard Foundation in Geneva. The Gold Standard Foundation focuses on accelerating progress toward the Paris Climate Agreement and the Sustainable Development Goals, through quantifying, certifying, and maximising the impact of a broad range of projects and programmes. David has been involved in several significant philanthropic initiatives including acting as Convenor of the Sustainability and the Environment Funding Program for the Sidney Myer Fund and The Myer Foundation. David holds a Bachelor of Agriculture (Hons) from Adelaide University.

Dermot O'Gorman

Dermot is the Chief Executive Officer of the World Wildlife Fund, Australia (WWF-Australia). WWF is the largest independent conservation organisation in the world and operates in more than 100 countries. Dermot is a global sustainable development leader with 25 years' experience in envisioning, ideating, and implementing solutions to protect wildlife, the environment and people. He has been a CEO at WWF for two decades across roles in China, the Pacific and Australia, providing Dermot with exposure to a range of local, regional and global conservation issues. Dermot is also Chair of OpenSC, a low carbon and sustainable food verification company and holds board positions with the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID) and the Luc Hoffmann Institute.

Dr Jane Fulton

Jane is an industry expert on the Sustainable Development Goals, having worked for a decade at the United Nations (UN) in New York where she focused on meeting the UN Development Programme's Water, Sanitation and Ocean Governance goals. Jane is currently a consultant to Energy Transition Advisors which focuses on sustainable solutions to global energy and was previously co- founder of the Sydney Peace Foundation which promotes public interest in peace, justice and universal human rights. Jane has a PhD from the University of Sydney (Sociology/Anthropology) which examined conflict over natural resources and concepts of nature.

Lucy Steed - CEO

Lucy co-founded Melior and is the Chief Executive Officer. Lucy has 20 years experience working at leading fund managers, investment banks and management consulting firms in Sydney, London and New York. Prior to setting up her own consulting company, Lucy was Head of Managed Accounts and Managed Funds at BT Financial Group where she worked from 2013-2016. Prior to this Lucy worked at AMP Capital from 2006-2013 in various roles including Head of Business Transformation, Head of Australian Product Development and Investment Specialist. Lucy is a Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors and is on the Foundation Board of St Catherine's School. Lucy received a Master of Commerce (Finance and Banking) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting and Marketing) from the University of Sydney.

Natasha Morris

Natasha Morris is the Managing Director of Responsibility and Impact at Adamantem Capital. Natasha is responsible for developing and embedding responsible and impact investing principles and practices into the Adamantem Group's investment products, stewardship processes, own operations and industry and stakeholder engagements. Natasha has worked across both the private sector and the social impact sector for over 20 years in both Australia and the UK. Before joining Adamantem Capital, Natasha was focused on impact investing, venture philanthropy, operations and strategy in the social sector (including at Social Ventures Australia). Prior to that Natasha's private sector career included working in infrastructure investing in the investment team (at Hastings Funds Management) and project and infrastructure finance law (at King & Wood Mallesons in Australia and Norton Rose in the UK). Nina Wilkinson

Nina previously worked at Credit Suisse London as a HOLT equity analyst from 2016-2019 covering the European technology, media and telecom sectors as well as small cap stocks. Prior to this Nina worked in the multi-asset class discretionary portfolio management team at Credit Suisse Private Bank in Sydney from 2012-2016. Nina is a CFA charterholder. Sona Fernandes

Suzie Riddell

Suzie is an industry leader in the social sector with extensive experience delivering impact for social causes such as education and employment. Suzie is CEO of Social Ventures Australia (SVA), a a not-for-profit organisation that works with partners to alleviate disadvantage in Australia through consulting, impact investing, philanthropy and advocacy. Prior to joining SVA, Suzie was a consultant at Bain & Company. Suzie holds a Bachelor of Accounting (University Medal, First Class Honours) from the University of Technology, Sydney and a Master of Philosophy (International Relations) from the University of Cambridge. She is a Non-Executive Director of The Observership Program, and formerly of YWCA NSW and Holdsworth Community Centre and Services. Tim King - Chief Investment Officer

Tim co-founded Melior and is the Chief Investment Officer (CIO). He has worked in capital markets for more than 25 years and has over a decade of experience in ESG research. Tim was Head of Company & ESG Research for Colonial First State Global Asset Management's Australian Equities Core Fund from 2016 to 2018. Prior to this he was Head of Advisory for governance research firm Regnan and Head of Company & ESG Research for Deutsche Bank from 2003 -2013. He was also a top 3 rated sell side analyst. Tim serves on the board of the NSW Biodiversity Conservation Trust and has served on the boards of The Gold Standard Foundation, based in Geneva, and Fauna and Flora International (FFI), the world's oldest international conservation organisation. Tim is a Chartered Financial Analyst. He has received an Advanced Certificate in International Economics and Finance from the Kiel Institute of World Economics in Germany and attended the University of Rochester in New York on a Fulbright Scholarship. Tim has both a Master of Arts with First Class Honours (Economics) and a Bachelor of Arts (Economics) from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Tim is an Industry Fellow at the University of Technology Business School.

Xavier Hatch
