Muid and Muid Associates evolved over a number of iterations. The first birth was that of Tawqa Systems- dedicated to the "restoration of the light and a return to purity in the 1980s. After acquiring a master's degree in social work from the SUNY-Stony Brook University, Onaje Muid founded Muid and Muid Associates in 2004. He went on to acquire post graduate certificates in African Centered Social Work, International Trauma Studies, Social Work and Spirituality. Through social work administration and meeting talented individuals, in various combinations of selected consultants from time to time, Onaje paired with colleagues in bringing education, counseling, coaching and supervision to families, organizations and institutions. The approach of Muid and Muid Associates is to have the right people, at the right time, for the right project.
