I'm Sunny Sadera, the founder of the Rift Valley Collection. I am from Nairobi, Kenya, specifically from the Maasai and Kikuyu tribe. I moved to Atlanta, Georgia as a teenager and that's when I quickly realized the image most people had about Africa was a negative one, an image of only poverty and hardship. As a proud Maasai woman I would like to change that image and instead highlight the creativity, culture, and beauty Kenya has to offer. Instead of waiting for someone else to change the narrative, I've decide to educate and share my culture through Art and this website. My goals with this business is to empower Maasai girls by promoting their craftsmanship and also establish a foundation where a percentage of the profits made will contribute towards the girls education... Hand-crafted Souvenirs and Art from Kenya, Africa. Our goal is to share Africas beauty, creativity, and culture through unique items that represent all the different regions in Kenya
