We believe that education is the cornerstone for progress. All individuals should be given the opportunity to develop and achieve through education. As educators, we believe that when we stop accepting reasons for failure and instead focus on action that is within our control, we contribute to the success of the students which we have been entrusted with. Therefore, the amount of student effort or family support can not be an excuse for poor service. We support the conclusions of resiliency research, and as such, we believe in creating caring relationships, having high expectations, and giving students opportunities for meaningful participation and contribution.
