Foluke Akinmoladun

Foluke Akinmoladun is the Managing Solicitor of Trizon Law Chambers, Lagos, Nigeria. She is a lawyer, a mediator, an arbitrator, and an accountant. She is the current and pioneer Director-General of the African Ship-owners Association of Nigeria and is also a peer reviewer for ICSID (International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes-World Bank) journal coordinated by the University of Oxford. She is a member of the Presidential National Action Committee on Nigeria's readiness on the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement (Transportation Stream) and was the moderator for the first of the workshop series of the Committee with stakeholders.

The young Sanni completed his secondary education at Community High School Ilado in 1986 and the Higher School Certificate at Federal School of Arts and Science, Victoria Island Lagos in 1989. He graduated from Nigeria's Premier University, the University of Ibadan with an LL.B (Hons.) in Law, then proceeded to the Nigerian Law School and was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Solicitor and Advocate in October 2000. He is also an alumnus of the University of Lagos Akoka, where he obtained his LL.M in 2012, as well as the Micheal Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies MINILS, Ilorin, where he obtained the Advanced Certificate in Labour Relations ACILR in 2018. He completed his studies for a Masters's degree (M.Sc.) in Political Science with a specialization in International Relations at the University of Ibadan in October 2019. A Lawyer, Administrator, Alternative Dispute Resolution practitioner, and Community Rights Advocate, Adewale had an opportunity to serve his community through a brief stint as the Secretary to the old Eti-Osa Local Government Council in 2002, a position he held for about seven months. He subsequently went back to active legal practice serving as both Associate, and Head of Chambers in different Law Firms in Lagos before becoming the Principal Attorney in the Law Firm of SANNI M.M.A AND CO (a firm of lawyers and ADR practitioners located in central Lagos) which he established in 2008. Very passionate about Community affairs, he was involved (as the coordinator of the community's interest) in the agitation against the arbitrary tolling on the Eti-Osa Lekki Epe Expressway a few years ago and participated as a member of the Committee set up by the State Government to resolve the issues. He is the current President, Eti Osa Heritage Organisation, and a member of Eti-Osa Leaders of Thought. Over the years, M.M.A SANNI has come to recognize and understand the importance and benefits of ADR to the Nigerian Legal System in particular, and the world at large.
