In 1999 a group of Abilene physicians decided to transform how the outpatient surgical experience is delivered to patients from Abilene and the surrounding areas. In May of 2000, Texas Midwest Surgery Center opened as a collaboration between these physicians and Hendrick Health Systems. Today, Texas Midwest Surgery Center continues to be a leader in outpatient surgery, constantly adding new surgeons and procedures to our expansive list of offerings.
