The Unfair Advantage was founded by Bret Petersen in 1997. Bret has been in sales and marketing for thirty years and has worked in Australia, New Zealand, The United Kingdom, Singapore, and the USA. In the 1990's Bret developed a strategy for one the News Group papers that generated over $1,000,000 in annual advertising revenue and increased circulation by 14%... Once you engage our services, we begin with the Planning meeting. This is where we jump right in and analyze your business from the bottom up. We work out why you're your business is where it is and what's been holding it back. We go through your financials so that you and we know exactly where all your margins are, plus we put into place tracking processes so that you can understand where all your business is coming from and why. We go right over your marketing to see what is working and what's not. This is a very important meeting and will take as long as it takes, normally 2 to 3 hours.
