Abby joined Foxcotte in August 2016 as part of the reception team. Abby has always had an avid interest in animals from a very young age, so much so her family have a variety of animals from Chickens, Runner Ducks, Geese, Pygmy Goats, Horses and Dogs. A passion of hers is Show Jumping. She goes out competing as much as she can on weekends. She also takes part in Cross country and sponsored rides and has ridden for over 14 years. Abby also enjoys spending quality time with her husband and son.

Amy has been working at Foxcotte since 2016. In 2018, Amy was promoted to Head Receptionist. A lot of our clients know Amy, she's been here longer than most the furniture! Outside of work Amy loves country life; she can often be found at the yard with her 3 horses or walking her spaniels Rory and Dougie with her partner.

Catherine Wilson

Catherine joined Foxcotte in April 2022 as Receptionist at our Whitchurch branch. When she's not getting paid to cuddle dogs and cats at Foxcotte, she likes to walk her own two Miniature Schnauzers, Liesl and Felda, in the Hampshire countryside. Her other interests include circuit training and boxing; travel photography; home DIY.

Cerrie Sherfield

Cerrie qualified from the Royal Veterinary College, London in July 2012. Prior to her veterinary degree Cerrie undertook a Bioveterinary degree at the University of Liverpool. Once graduated, Cerrie worked in a practice in Salisbury before having her l first daughter, Isla. Following maternity leave, she joined the team at Foxcotte Veterinary Group in April 2016 and took on the role as Joint Clinical Director in August, a few months after joining the practice. Some of our long-standing clients may recognise Cerrie from her days as a veterinary nurse at Foxcotte, prior to her studies! Since joining Foxcotte Cerrie has had 2 more little girls, Scarlet and Mabel who keep her on her toes alongside Isla! When Cerrie's not at work she enjoys an active lifestyle, running, cycling, going to the gym (at 0545 am!!), playing netball, walking her crazy Boxer dog, Puzzle, and spending time with her husband and children. Cerrie also doubles up as a teaching assistant, helping her teacher husband mark schoolbooks and doing lots of cutting and sticking! Cerrie enjoys spending time with clients and their animals and has a strong interest in soft tissue surgery as well as having an interest in veterinary business and management.

Chloë graduated from Nottingham University in 2015 and joined Foxcotte in September 2018. Chloë is passionate about cats and is currently working towards a certificate in Feline Practice. At home, Chloë lives with her husband and two young children. They also have two very special rescue cats and a crazy border collie. As a family, they love to explore the local countryside on dog walks, and to bake chocolatey treats at home.

Delia Richter

Delia originally joined us as a locum - providing holiday cover for other vets - but found she loved the practice, clients and pets so much she couldn't stay away! So, from January 2019 she became a permanent member of the team. She graduated at the University of Queensland in 1996, and initially practiced in Australia, moving to the UK in 2005. She is an Advanced Veterinary Practitioner in Dermatology, and particularly loves managing itchy skin and sore ears! Delia lives near Salisbury with her husband and adored spoilt cat Princess Girly Floofy Knickers. In her spare time, she likes anything to do with nature of history and loves to have adventures.

Ellie joined Foxcotte in 2022 as a animal nursing assistant and quickly transferred to her current role as student veterinary nurse. Ellie is a qualified veterinary hydro-therapist. At home she has a GWP and soon to be joined with a new puppy!

Gill Young

Gill joined the practice in November 2016. She brings a wealth of veterinary experience with her having worked in the veterinary industry for 40 years. Gill has been fortunate enough to work in Australia and Canada, as an Ophthalmology theatre nurse at the animal health trust and a lecturer at Kingston Maurward college. She lives with her vocal rescue cat Millie and can be found exploring the countryside from the back of one of her horses. Gill enjoys baking and walking in her limited spare time.

Hannah joined the practice in 2014 as a nursing assistant and receptionist. Laura graduated from Coventry University in 2017 and is a member of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP). Laura has a keen interest in neurological cases and showing clients how to make their homes more accessible for their dogs. Outside of work Laura has a horse called Peppie with whom she competes in dressage and explores the countryside with. Laura also has a Labrador called Digby; both are currently learning about gun dog training.

Michelle Dyke RVN

Michelle started veterinary nursing in September 1992 and qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1998, becoming a Head Veterinary Nurse in 2002. In 2004 she gained her Veterinary Nurse Training A1 Assessor Award. She added an SQP qualification in 2008 and became an RCVS Veterinary Nurse Practical Examiner in 2010. Michelle joined Foxcotte in June 2016 and is responsible for leading our team of nurses and animal care assistants. She is experienced in all areas of veterinary nursing including theatre, nurse clinics, client contact, and nurse training. However, she particularly enjoys the practical side of veterinary nursing using her extensive experience to approach any task given competently and confidently. She also has a keen interest in teaching student nurses. Mostly you will find Michelle training and working her spaniel during the shoot season, Her other hobbies include baking, reading, and watching films snuggled up with her cat.

Rebecca started her career on a veterinary reception desk, seeing all the amazing work the RVNs did, Rebecca began her journey. Once completing her ANA qualification she joined Foxcotte as a student veterinary nurse and is enjoying everyday gaining new skills and widening her Knowledge. Rebecca enjoys working with all your pets especially the feline patients. In her spare time Rebecca enjoys the company of her two cats Charlie and Minnie and her fiancé Joel. Rebecca also enjoys spending time with her two sisters and their horses.

Sharon Henwood

Sharon joined our friendly reception team in December 2018 and can be found as part of the fixtures and fittings in our Ludgershall branch. She worked as a veterinary reception for approximately 10 years before relocating from Berkshire to Wiltshire. Sharon worked with us as the afternoon receptionist for approximately 4 years and, as well as reception Sharon is now Ludgershall's Co-ordinator working to uphold Foxcotte's friendly helpful service. Sharon's passion is her border collies, she has three and loves nothing more than walking them on a sunny frosty day. She has achieved Kennel Club Gold Awards with two of them and bronze with the third. She has dabbled a bit in agility over the years but is now developed a liking for showing and has qualified her youngest for Crufts.

Shelley Doxey

Shelley graduated in 2002 and has been working in small animal practice ever since. Shelley enjoys all aspects of her job but has a keen interest in the management of chronic pain diseases and practices as an integrative veterinary surgeon using acupuncture, laser and herbal medicine on our own patients as well as seeing those from other practices. Shelley lives on a local farm where she looks after her husband, two children and many pets from donkeys to hamsters
