Justin Chaloner

Justin previously worked in the education and charity sectors before pursuing a career in the media. "Before helping set up Candy Jar I had various roles including lecturer, fundraiser, youth worker and project manager. This gave me a valuable and unique insight into the challenges and pressures faced by those working in these sectors. Retraining as a freelance cameraman and editor, I was able to draw on my experiences as I worked on productions related to these fields. I now have a wealth of experience working on video productions for small and medium companies as well as larger organisations."

Richard Young

Richard's career spans over 20 years in the web and graphic design industries. He has worked on many varied projects from one thousand page plus websites for education and estate agents (including Blackburn College, Reeds Rains, Your Move and Right Move) to one and two page websites for SME's and sole traders. Richard runs his own companies, NEDC and Tiny Turtle Illustration. He says he was born in the wrong decade, he's married with two children, three dogs, a rabbit and horse and a garage full of Doctor Who merchandise and his sons Star Wars toys!

Shaun Russell

Shaun has a background in television production, marketing and journalism and has worked for ITV, Channel 5, GMTV and The Children's Channel. He has excellent contacts throughout the media in both television and print journalism and possesses a keen commercial sensibility. Responsible for overseeing book production, he is also heavily involved in marketing.

Will Rees

Will is a graduate of Cardiff University with a degree in English Literature. He has a background in multi-media sales and joined Candy Jar full-time after completing a work experience placement. He now has over five years experience in editorial positions, and in 2014 was lead editor of the award winning The Search for Mister Lloyd.
