He established AK Partnership in 2003, previously worked at Legal & General, Lloyds TSB Group, AVIVA, & Sedgwick Noble Lowndes. He prides himself in working only with the very best people in his business and manages all the relationships with lending partners. Being well connected at the highest level in all aspects of the financial market: thus ensuring he delivers the right solution for all clients. Adrian personally has a sizeable property portfolio and understands the needs of the property investor. Adrian is a keen golf player and an avid fitness fanatic.

Darren has been working with AKP since 2018, he started his financial career at HSBC in 1998 and later moving into the independent mortgage advice sector before relocating to Barcelona where he owned an estate agency and learnt to speak fluent Spanish. He returned into the independent mortgage broker sector in 2016 and can advise on all types of mortgages including Equity Release as he passed the exam to advise on Equity release products in 2017. Living in Surrey now but originally from Yorkshire he spends a lot of his time in London and has a portfolio of clients based in the city, Surrey and Yorkshire.

Jag heads up our research and technical side, as a para-planner role and also working directly alongside Adrian Knott the CEO supporting the business across the back office. Jag has been working with AKP since 2017 and in the finance industry since 2010, during this period learning and expending his knowledge of the mortgage market. Outside of work, Jag has a young family who love to travel the world which he has a great passion for and wants his children to see as much of the planet as possible. Mark joined AKP in 2020 after a long career in the tennis industry. A former player and professional coach himself, Mark went on to study at the London Institute of Banking and Finance and now looks after a number of clients with both residential & commercial property financing needs. Mark is based in Cheltenham and is a keen golfer.

I started working at AKP in 2016 in compliance & support for Adrian the CEO.
My background is in property and design. I have a keen interest in all property related matters and also have an international architectural design business which is based in Moscow.
Outside work I am a keen fitness fanatic & traveler.
Rob Ground started working with AKP in 2010. He set up all the private bank relationships with AKP and he also runs his own appointed representative company that sits behind AKP; Kalan Fiancee LLP (www.kalanfinance.com). Previous to AKP Rob was a founding member of Knight Frank Finance where he was a Partner and Operations Manager responsible for establishing all lender relationships and operations. He has been as an adviser since 2006. Prior to joining Knight Frank Finance Rob was a Vice President and client facing credit officer at Citi Private Bank from 1997. Outside of work Rob is an avid football fan and amateur runner and golfer. He lives in Hove with his wife and two children.

I started my role in the financial services for Alliance and Leicester in 2005 where I worked as a Mortgage and insurance consultant for 3 years before moving to Spain. In Spain I continued in the property
world selling high value on the Costa del Sol for a year. I took a break from finance when I returned to work in London for a large advertising company before starting a family.
I joined the AKP team in 2016 to become a researcher and Para Planner. I deal with the whole application from start to completion, liaising with clients, lenders and solicitors to make sure that the process runs as quickly and smoothly as possible. I make sure that the clients mortgage
requirements are well managed once the formal advice process has taken place.
My knowledge of the full process enables me to ensure the office is well run and the advisors have everything required to enable them to deliver the best service to our clients.
