Darcie is from Nebraska. While in Nebraska, she worked in the human healthcare industry for over 20 years as a CNA, EMT, and emergency room tech. She is certified in phlebotomy and advanced airways. Her hobbies consist of animal science, working in the yard, remodeling, and thrift shopping. Her passion is her family. She has five dogs, all rescues. She loves and desires to help all living things.
Dr. Craig Brown was born in Los Alamos, New Mexico, and moved to Midland in 1967. After graduating with honors from Lee High School, Dr. Brown went to Texas A&M University and obtained his Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. During his A&M days, he learned the game of racquetball, being a finalist in tournament play. After practicing in Longview for two years, Dr. Brown moved back out to Midland and purchased Animal Clinic and Hospital with Dr. Mark J. Miller in 1984. Dr. Brown is married to his lovely wife, Judy, and has three children and seven grandchildren. He still enjoys racquetball along with hunting, fishing, boating, camping, hiking, and traveling, having spent considerable time in the Caribbean. He has served on numerous church boards, chairing Mission committees many times, and is currently on the board of the YMCA of Midland. He was a founding member of Family Promise of Midland, an organization giving a hand up to homeless families.
Dr. Rachel Lurvey was born and raised in Flower Mound, Texas. She attended Oklahoma State University for her undergraduate and postgraduate studies. She graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 2020. Dr. Lurvey just recently moved to Midland with her husband, Logan, and they are excited to embark on their next adventure.
Dr. Lurvey and her husband Logan share their home with the sweetest mini Aussie named Shiloh, and the most handsome cats - Marty (a sassy tuxedo) and Lenny (the most lovable orange tabby). When not working, Dr. Lurvey and Logan enjoy skiing, hiking, traveling, and any live entertainment.
Dr. Lurvey is incredibly passionate about feline medicine and making veterinary visits a pleasant experience for all pets. She thoroughly enjoys internal medicine, building relationships with clients, and soft tissue surgery. Dr. Lurvey is excited to be able to experience all Midland has to offer and cannot wait to become integrated into the community to serve you and your pets.

Gloria was born and raised in Midland, TX. She graduated from Angelo State University in 2016 with a bachelor's in Agricultural Science. Gloria has always wanted to be a Veterinary Technician just like her mother. She has work in emergency practices as well as day practices. She married her wonderful husband in 2019 and they have a beautiful daughter. She loves animals of all shapes and sizes. She is consistently finding new and fun ways to make people laugh and brighten someone's day. Her hobbies consist of reading and writing.
