ARRAS FOUNDATION

The Arras Foundation aims to foster an environment in which all members of our community can see its potential. We work with local nonprofits, elected officials, educators at every level, and many other members of the general public toward supporting and building a healthy community. Our work is rooted in our commitment to collaboration, community engagement, communication, all of which is supported by data and the tracking of our healthy community indicators... Give Local is an annual event designed to celebrate the causes that matter to Chester County and Lancaster County. Each year, supporters can get involved by donating funds or giving time in support of our important nonprofit organizations. Launched in 2016 by the Arras Foundation and supporting partners (the City of Lancaster, Lancaster County Community Foundation, and Lancaster County Partners For Youth), Give Local has raised over $1.6M for over 100 nonprofit organizations in our region.
