Dr Joon Kim is a General Surgeon with sub-specialty training in Surgical Oncology, encompassing Breast Cancer and Skin Cancer surgery. Dr Kim is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in General Surgery and one of the founding members of The Breast Surgeons of Australia and New Zealand Society. This organisation is responsible for overseeing the sub-specialty training of Breast Surgeons and monitoring surgical performance and quality of care provided by all Breast Surgeons in Australia and New Zealand. Dr Kim has been living and providing a service to the Southern Highlands since 2006 and continues to strive to improve surgical services in the area. He is married to Dr Michaella Smith and he is a father of six boys.
