My dream began while in high school. At the recommendation of my mother, I enrolled in typing classes. I did not know it then, but this was some of the best advise she could have given me, because it started me on my career path and lead to my love for computers, which was just becoming a hot item at the time. Soon after entering college, I got married and pregnant with my daughter and I had to quit college to help care & provide for family. Later I had a son and I worked hard & sacrificed a lot to be the best wife and mother. In an effort to better myself, and meet my new obligations, I enrolled into SER Jobs for Progress. This program taught me more about computers and the entire process of the office environment... After completing the course, I started out as a receptionist and continued to slowly advance myself as best as I could while taking care of my family.
