A simple and low cost option for reducing the frequency of HAI is appropriate hand washing by healthcare workers. Yet studies have documented hand washing compliance is typically below 50%. Way To Wash was created to develop a system for healthcare facilities to increase hand washing compliance through the use of low cost, yet functional technology. Our system improves hand washing compliance and reduces HAI, while improving employee and customer morale.
