Odournet UK Ltd purchased two TO evolution olfactometers in 2015 and 2016, from Olfasense GmbH. Olfasense have provided a great service, with efficient supply and installation of our olfactometers and knowledgeable, friendly support whenever we've needed it. We were quickly able to integrate these olfactometers into our long-standing UKAS accreditation. We have always been very confident in this technology, but have recently received the results of the worldwide interlaboratory comparison that we participated in, earlier in 2016, and are exceptionally happy with our achievement using the TO evolution olfactometers. We were within the top 3 places, for accuracy, out of 36 participating similar odour labs!

Janina is a young environmental professional, holding a Master's Degree in Environmental Sciences, after obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in Geography. She already accompanied us during her studies as a student trainee.
She has experience in learning and working abroad. Currently, she is gaining experience in various odour projects, with the main focus on dispersion calculation and reports on odour issues. Further, she is gathering additional knowledge on odour sampling, odour emission evaluation and odour mitigation.
Janina is a native German speaker and brings additional language skills in English and French.

Jonas is a young environmental professional, holding a Bachelor's Degree in ‘Physics of the Earth System: Meteorology - Oceanography - Geophysics‘. Additionally, he finished his apprenticeship as a physical lab technician.
During his Bachelor thesis, he worked analytically with large climatological datasets on climate variability. While he gained experience in technical processes, sampling as well as calibration, during his apprenticeship.
Currently, he is gathering knowledge in various odour projects, with the main focus on different odour emitting plants, dispersion calculation, sampling, calibration, and reports on odour emission in combination with wind propagation.

Louise Warren is a Principal consultant at Olfasense UK Ltd. She has over 17 years' experience in environmental assessment, focussing on odour and air quality issues.
Louise is a recognised monitoring expert with specialist knowledge of a wide range of monitoring and analysis techniques including chemical analysis and VOC speciation, dust and bioaerosol sampling and analysis, stack sampling, and sensory odour analysis including olfactometry in accordance with EN13725 1 . She also has extensive practical knowledge and experience in a wide range of odour management, control and assessment techniques, including odour treatment technology and its specification.
Louise is an experienced expert witness and regularly provides odour assessment and regulation training courses in relation to odour monitoring and control techniques to industry, water companies and regulatory bodies. She is a chartered scientist and a full member of the Royal Society of Chemistry.
Louise also holds a Certificate in Occupational Health issued by NEBOSH and is qualified as a Level 2 Team Leader under the Environment Agency MCERTS monitoring certification scheme.

Nick has over twenty years of specialist experience, including the delivery of several hundred projects for a wide range of clients in the public, wastewater, waste, food, agricultural, and industrial sectors. He has also conducted research and provided advice on odour assessment and control to a wide range of public and private organisations that include the UK Environment Agency, UK Government, Irish Environmental protection Agency, UK Water, and the composting/waste sector. He is an experienced expert witness and has represented private and public clients at planning inquiries, civil/criminal legal cases and arbitration/mediation proceedings. Svenja Senkale has joined our state-of-the-art molecular odour analysis laboratory to assist the team in performing analysis on air and material samples using molecular methods, including high-quality GC-MS, GC-Sniffing and GC-IMS services.
She started her career as a chemical laboratory assistant with activities in analytics, quality assurance and product development. Svenja holds a Master of Science in Chemistry from Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel, Germany, and is currently pursuing her PhD in Chemistry.
