ENLIGHTEN SHINES DURING LOCKDOWN 2020 Our Music and Art Projects has been busy as always. Enlighten Education Trust participated during the first ever Virtual Education Africa International Marimba & Steelpan Competition in December 2020. Enlighten Education Trust was the only entry of the Western-Cape that participated. There were two main entries; Waldorf Hermanus & Botrivier Marimbas. Botrivier won 2nd place in the category Battle of the Bands. Edward Hoorn from Botrivier won 2nd place in the Solo Marimba category and Waldorf Hermanus won the prize for Most promising Band in the the entire competition - they won a TOMS Keyboard for their school.
