The eSchool+ initiative is a cross-disciplinary collaboration between the Johns Hopkins Consortium for School-Based Health Solutions, Berman Institute of Bioethics, and schools of Education, Medicine, and Public Health. Our team benefits from expertise in ethics, school health, school policy, food security, clinical medicine and education... As the world struggles with reopening, schools are at the forefront of the conversation in the midst of an ongoing pandemic. Not only will schools need to reopen in a way that protects the safety and health of students, teachers, and staff, but schools will need to find new ways to help students make up for the losses in learning, health, and support systems that occurred as a result school closures.
