The Fondation Dr Javad Nurbakhsh, a non-governmental organization, is a not-for-profit charity in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire. We opened our doors in 2005 to provide primary healthcare services at a lower cost than other local centers. As our patient population grew we saw the need for educational and social support programs that enhance quality of life in ways that directly impact on overall physical and mental wellbeing... We are committed to providing accessible, affordable, and appropriate primary health care and social support services to vulnerable local persons marginalized from mainstream society. Our organization strives to work with compassion and with a spirit of loving-kindness and generosity that stresses the fraternity and equality of all human beings... The Fondation Javad Nurbakhsh has been working in humanitarian aid for some 15 years.
