The KRS facility located in Derby, Maine is perfectly positioned to serve Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts and is the only certified tank car shop in the New England and Eastern Canada region. Our highly skilled and trained mechanical employees provide a one-stop-shop for cleaning, repair and qualifications of tank cars, pressure differential hoppers and freight cars. Our facility is served by Class I railway CP which interchanges with CN, PAS, MNR, NBSR, VTR and SLQ... KRS has a certified mobile repair unit serving Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts. We can handle most repairs needed to get your equipment moving again right at your location, often within 48 hours. In addition to repairs our mobile unit also offers re- railing, derailment inspections, end of lease inspections, re-stenciling projects and JIC inspections.
