Edward Liss is the Chief Financial Officer of M.A.F. He is responsible for financial reporting and structuring new acquisitions. In addition, Ed coordinates with investors and their counsel regarding 1031 exchange requirements. Edward started his real estate career working on a top producing sales team at a national real estate firm. During that time, he analyzed 6,000 units and over $400 million of investment real estate. His next years included assisting in management of that sales team, selling investment real estate, and working at a local Chicago real estate company on the brokerage side. Edward is also a co-founder of Triton Realty Group. Edward has a decade of real estate experience and sold over 2,000 units valued at nearly $100 million of property. These transactions have been apartment and mixed-use buildings in Chicago, Chicago suburbs, and secondary markets within Illinois. Harrison Cohen

Harrison Cohen is the Director of Acquisitions and General Counsel for M.A.F. Harrison is responsible for sourcing, underwriting and negotiating M.A.F. investments. After earning his law degree from the, Harrison spent years as a trial lawyer. He transitioned into commercial real estate brokerage and holds his real estate license at Triton Realty Group where he is a Vice President. In the past two years, Harrison has facilitated $20,000,000 in multifamily real estate transactions. James Thompson - VP

James Thompson has recently joined M.A.F. full time after working remotely for the company over a year as an intern in the summer of 2019. He graduated from The University of Wisconsin-Madison's top ranked Real Estate program and is eager to make a name for himself in Chicago. James currently lives in the Lakeview neighborhood of Chicago. He is focused on multifamily and mixed-use properties in Chicago's Belmont Cragin, Old Irving Park, and Portage Park neighborhoods. He has a strong understanding of the operations of multifamily real estate due to his experience as a property manager along with his prior experience as an intern. Having graduated from one of country's top real estate programs has along put his real estate knowledge ahead of the curve. Originally from the Minneapolis suburbs, his previous experience as a lacrosse coach allows him to listen and advise his clients along with the entire M.A.F. team.

Julie Fritzshall

Julie Fritzshall, is a Senior Property Manager for M.A.F. Julie is responsible for the day to day management of MAF's portfolio. Julie is a trusted resource who works tirelessly to make sure each tenant is communicated with in a timely manner and every M.A.F. property is well maintained. Her responsibilities include leasing, tenant relations, and accounting.

Matthew Buckingham

Matthew Buckingham is the Director of Asset Management and Vice President of Acquisitions at M.A.F. Matthew is responsible for overseeing an optimizing the performance of each M.A.F. investment. After selling real estate for approximately a decade he has gained extensive knowledge of how to operate multifamily investments. Matthew holds his real estate license at Triton Realty Group. He is focused primarily on apartment and mixed use-mixed-use building sales on the north and west side of Chicago. With strong market knowledge and transaction volumes west of city, Matthew has built strong relationships with clients and continues to build up his portfolio of business. Matthew has superior market knowledge regarding all aspects of multifamily housing including zoning, de-conversions, add-value strategies, and new development.
