Dr. Rosse received his BS and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Basel, Switzerland, and did postdoctoral studies at Stanford University, California. Dr. Rosse has extensive experience in analytical chemistry, medicinal chemistry and drug discovery research working with F. Hoffmann-La Roche, Sanofi-Aventis, Cephalon and Dart NeuroScience. Most recently, he pioneered the implementation of SFC-MS at research and industrial scale to support small molecules automated synthesis. Dr. Rosse is the author of many publications and patents, and recently edited a new book on modern SFC applications.
Dr. Shaimi earned his MS in Chemistry and his PhD in Chemical Engineering while working at Prochrom SA, France. He later joined Chiral Technologies and Merck & Co., where he championed SFC technologies within the scale-up and purification departments. In 2004, Dr. Shaimi founded PIC Solution in Avignon, France, where the headquarter and manufacturing facility are currently located. He is a prolific inventor and the author of multiple patents covering the proprietary technological advances developed by PIC Solution.
