The Providence Performing Arts Center, also known as the PPAC, opened in 1928 and has been the premier place in Rhode Island for all the best traveling Broadway shows as well as solo artists. The Providence Performing Arts Center box office is located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence. The venue has been on the National Register for Historic Places since 1977 and has a seating capacity over 3,000.
