Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego is a nonprofit, 524-bed pediatric-care facility dedicated to excellence in care, research and teaching. We are the only hospital in the San Diego area dedicated exclusively to pediatric healthcare and the region's only designated pediatric trauma center. Rady Children's Hospital is actively working on multiple projects to help and support children, families and community during the COVID-19 pandemic... We work very closely with our partners in the local area, including the County of San Diego, California Department of Public Health, Sharp Health, Scripps Health, Helix, and many others. These collaboration also extend across to Mexico and across the world, where we work closely with many different institutions... To track the spread of SARS-CoV-2 locally here in San Diego, we perform wastewater surveillance, ‘SGTF' analyses, and sequencing of clinical samples.
