Dr.K.Aravinth, Research Scientist in the SSN Research Centre has 5 years research experience in the field of Crystal Growth. He got his B.Sc and M.Sc. in Physics from Muthyammal College of Arts and Science, Rasipuram. He has finished his Ph.D. in the field of crystal growth in Anna University, Chennai. He has a wide experience on the synthesis and growth of organic, inorganic and semi-organic materialsand instrumentation for materials characterizations. He worked in a DST funded project as a Junior Research Fellow for 3 years and later he got Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in SSN Institutions for 2 years. He has published 50 papers in Refereed International Journals and presented 5 papers in the various National/International conferences. In August 2013, he presented his research papers in the 17th International Conference on Crystal Growth - ICCG 17 held at Warsaw, Poland. He is a life member of Indian Association for Crystal Growth. Currently he is working in the field of energy harvesting piezoelectric materials.

Dr. M. Senthil Pandian

Dr. Muthu Senthil Pandian has 16 years of research experience and 11 years of teaching experience. He received his B.Sc and M.Sc. Physics from The American College, Madurai. He received Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai in 2013.He was one of the team members who grew the 1350 mm length and 55 diameter longest NLO single crystal. He has published 163 Papers in International Peer Reviewed Journals and 35 Papers in American Institute of Physics (AIP) and Materials Today Proceedings with the Citations: 2368, h-index: 27 and i10-index:66. He has received 7 external projectsfrom DST, SERB, DAE-BRNSwith the total budget ofRs.285.48 lakhand 17 internally funded faculty and student projects supported by SSN Trust with the total budget ofRs.33.31 lakh.He is a recognized supervisor of Anna University,Chennai and 6Full-Time Ph.D. Scholars have completed their Ph.D. and 5Full-Time Ph.D. Scholars are presently working under his guidance. 14 Post Doctoral Fellows (PDF), 4 Senior Research Fellows (SRF) and 11 Junior Research Assistants (JRA) have completed their research work under his guidance. He has delivered 133 Invited Lectures in International / National Conferences / Seminars / Workshops. More than 250 papers have been presented by his Ph.D. students in the various National/International Conferences.He has published 12 Books / Book Chapters and News Letters. As an appreciation of his commendable work, he has received financial assistance to attend the "International conference on PVSEC-25", BEXCO, Busan, South Korea from Department of Science & Technology (DST). He has published 75 research papers in Referred International Journals and proceedings, presented more than 60 papers in International/National Conferences in which he got 4 Best Paper Award. As an appreciation of his commendable work, he has received Best Researcher Award in the year of 2015-2016 from SSN Institutions. He has given more than 20 Invited Lectures at various Conferences/Seminars. He is a founder and coordinator of Indian Science and Technology association & Elavenil organization. He has received the "Best Novel Award" from World Tamil University, Washington, USA for his novel "SUGANYA SEITHA MAHATHANA SAADHANAIGAL". He has written 7 books in the field of Tamil Literature. Mr. Chandra Bhal Signh, Research Scientist in Research Centre has 4 years of research experience in the areas of Thin film deposition techniques, Organic photovoltaic and Thermally Conductive polymer nano-composites.He received his M.Sc. Degree in physics with specialization in Electronics from CSJM University, Kanpur, and his M.Tech. Degree in Cryogenic Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. During his M.Tech project, he designed and fabricated a computer controlled transient hot wire apparatus to measure the thermal conductivity of polymer nano-composites and nano-fluids. His research work is mainly focused on the fabrication of amorphous and nanocrystalline silicon thin films and metal-assisted VLS growth of silicon nanowires films using the PECVD technique for energy conversion and storage applications. His specialization includes semiconductor devices, synthesis of metal nanoparticles and deposition and growth of thin films.
