Adam comes to us fresh out of high school, completing his Certificate II in Electrotechnology whilst also finishing year 12. Adam has so far shown immense talent and willingness to accomplish any task no matter what gets in his way. We look forward to seeing what Adam can achieve during his apprenticeship and beyond.
Brock has come the furthest to join our team at Taylor Energy all the way from the Northern Territory . Brock has an extensive background in the customer service industry and we are excited to see how he goes on the roof, In Brock's spare time he loves hanging out with friends and exploring the sunny beaches in QLD.
Brodie comes to us fresh out of high school, completing his Certificate II in Electrotechnology whilst also finishing year 12. Brodie has showed to us already that he is an intelligent worker offering brilliant strategies to get works completed if we find an issue. Brodie also has a business on the side teaching basketball and has proven to be a successful basketball player.
Caleb started with us in October 2019. He has worked in several construction style jobs in the past and this shows in his enthusiastic energy and hard work ethic. We were pleasantly surprised to learn he is also a master at operating the forklift. In his spare time, Caleb enjoys riding dirt bikes and going to the beach.
Corey joined the company as an apprentice in March 2019. Corey is hardworking and motivated and has become a valued member of the team. When everyone else is taking a break Corey pushes through and is often referred to the company "Cyborg". On the weekends Corey can be found on the soccer field or outdoors four-wheel driving with friends.
Daniel has been with Taylor Energy since we founded the business and is our longest serving employee. In fact, Daniel completed his entire apprenticeship with James, stretching right back to 2009. Daniel is our battery expert and one of the most knowledgeable heads in the solar game. Outside of work, Daniel can be found playing football or talking about football or watching football and spending time with his family.
Dylan started with Taylor Energy fresh out of school and has become one of our most reliable electricians. Dylan is a fun and friendly team member who is known for his outstanding customer service. Like his brother Daniel, Dylan can be found playing, watching, and talking about football. Dylan is an absolute gun on the football field gaining numerous awards.
Enter Jake, a rising star at Taylor Energy who began his journey as a Casual and swiftly ascended the professional ladder to the role of Apprentice. Jake's innate curiosity and hunger for knowledge set him apart from the start, earning him recognition for his dedication and exceptional performance. His natural talent and proactive approach have not only impressed colleagues but also positioned him as a valuable asset to the team.
James is a qualified electrician, CEC accredited solar designer and installer, and the Managing Director of Taylor Energy. He has been in the solar game since 2009 and is deeply passionate about the industry. Outside of work, he enjoys playing football, getting out on the boat and spending time with his family.
Jesse began his apprenticeship under a different company, so he brings with him some more knowledge and skills from other areas of the electrical industry. He is the first chosen if we are pre-wiring a house or doing an LED lighting fit-out. Outside of work, Jesse, like the Brents, can be found on the football field.
Lachlan is one of our most fun-loving and entertaining staff members. Lachlan is always willing to help be it out on site or in the office, no job is too difficult. Lachlan takes everything in his stride and always finds a way to make any issue a learning moment and strives to make an installation a happy experience for our customers. In Lachlan's down time he enjoys having drinks with friends and playing video games.
Mitchell started with Taylor Energy in 2015. Mitch is a certified gun at his job. Mitch will have the roof done before smoko and it will be the neatest job you'll find in Brisbane, then he might come down and do the switchboard and inverter too. Outside of work Mitch can be found beating the rest of the team at golf or hanging out with friends.
Nick had come to us having already had some solar experience so was able to hit the ground running. He has a very positive attitude and is always looking for new and creative ways to help the business. Nick has quickly become a great asset to the team. On weekends Nick enjoys having a few drinks and watching the cricket to relax.
Nikita organises bookings, deals with customer enquiries and oversees the general administration of the business not to mention keeps us all in check. Nikita came to us with 12 years of experience in the legal accounting sector and is now enjoying her new role in helping our business grow. On the weekends Nikita can be found spending time with friends and her son at the beach or skate parks.
Meet Ryan, a dynamic individual whose journey at Taylor Energy exemplifies the essence of dedication and swift advancement. Starting as a Casual, Ryan's commitment and passion for the industry were immediately apparent. His exceptional work ethic and quick grasp of responsibilities led to a rapid promotion to the role of Apprentice.
Shaye started with us late in 2022. He has worked as a butcher prior to starting at Taylor Energy so has automatically become the BBQ master. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that Shaye also had prior Electrical experience. In his spare time, Shaye enjoys playing Rugby for his local club.
