THE OAKS BUTCHERY

The Oaks Butchery was started in 1942 at the current premises by Deneane Cranfield (Coogan's) Grandfather Bill Coogan in partnership with Bill Soilen after World War II. In the past 7 decades The Oaks Butchery has continued to provide customers with a full paddock to plate experience offering local produce under the ownership of James and Deneane Cranfield. The Cranfield/ Coogan families have been produce suppliers in the local district for over 100 years with the Cranfield family farming Springfields and Brookes Flat at Mount Hunter and Wheelsby on the Cawdor Valley Plain and the Coogan family offering fresh produce as fruit, grocery and meat merchants in the local district... The Oaks Butchery brand has become a household staple in supplying the very finest quality meats using traditional butchering techniques in Macarthur, Wollondilly and Highlands Areas and is a proud tradition since 1942.
