The FERN Community Funds (FCFs) are a social enterprise set up by FERN Trading Limited to distribute the community funds generated from its wind farms. Building on the vision that a truly responsive community funder can make a real long term difference to its local communities... The fund was originally administered by Blue Energy under the Blue Energy Sustainable Community Initiative. Later, the windfarms were acquired by Fern Trading Limited, who in turn established the FERN Community Funds. FERN Trading Limited is managed by Octopus Investments on behalf of the investors.
