COLIN HALL

Currently we are a one man band consisting of Colin Hall. Typefunction was founded by Colin Hall in 2009. Graduating in 2005 from The University of Reading with a BA/MDes in Typography and Graphic Communication, Colin worked for HarperCollins Publishers for three years as a book designer. Confident in his abilities with typography and design, he set up type function. In addition to this, Colin is also Design Partner at Refined Practice... We are based in South London, but can work nationally or internationally if needed. We can work in our own office, or invade yours... The projects we work on are varied. Having most experience in book design, books form the bulk of our work. With books usually come advertising design, which often leads to designing for the web either as online ads or an entire website. We have experience in all these areas, so can provide a complete package if needed.
