At Conkers Life we take our inspiration from nature and the children themselves as well as following some of both Steiner and Forest School philosophies... Forest School principles and philosophies work hand in hand with our ethos at Conkers by encouraging activities for both our regular groups and that of the kindergarten. We promote a sense of community and offer holistic development for all learners which encourages resilience, confidence, independence and creativity. We also believe in safe risk taking and with the benefit of small group sizes and a small intake in the kindergarten we can promote this and allow children to make safe judgments... We offer a range of groups and outdoor activities for babes in arms upwards, including outdoor parent and child groups, forest school groups, and childcare through our outdoor kindergarten.
