Dr. John Harrison completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi in 2008. Upon graduation, Dr. Harrison spent the following year in Peru teaching English and assisting in a medical clinic as an intern for Peru Mission. He then attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry in Jackson, MS, and achieved his DMD degree in 2013. Following the completion of this degree, he entered a two-year pediatric dental residency at Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital of Richmond in Richmond, VA.
He is Board Certified by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and maintains his AAPD Diplomate status. He is also a member of the Tennessee Dental Association, Nashville Dental Society, and Tennessee Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Harrison is able to provide comprehensive dental treatment with the use of general anesthesia in a hospital setting for children with severe dental problems as well as patients with special needs.
Outside of the office, Dr. Harrison enjoys traveling, running, and a variety of sports. He also loves spending time with his fiancé Michaela and their puppy named Rigatoni.
Dr. John Stritikus, a Board-certified pediatric dentist, has been in private practice since 1999. He is now proudly seeing 2nd generation patients as he is treating the children of now adult former patients. Dr. John attended Auburn University in Montgomery, the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry and completed his Pediatric Residency at the University of Tennessee College of Dentistry.
Dr. John has extensive training and extensive treatment rendered for patients with medical issues at prestigious hospitals such as Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. Dr John believes in treating every child as an individual and therefore utilizes many methods to provide children with the best and most comfortable dental experience possible.
In 2021, Dr. John completed training in infant Tongue Tie releases and is treating those here in our office. A Waterlase MD laser was used since 2005 to treat older patient's frenums. Now we have a CO2 laser to treat infant's frenums.
Dr. John is an active member of many professional organizations including the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association, the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry, Nashville Dental Society, and the Tennessee Dental Association. He is dedicated to providing all of his patients with the most comprehensive and advanced pediatric dental care available.
Dr. Justin Robbins graduated from Mississippi State University in 1993 and the University of Tennessee-Memphis College of Dentistry in 1999. After graduating dental school, Dr. Justin practiced general dentistry for 5 years in the United States Navy. Four of those years were spent in Yokosuka, Japan. After active duty in the Navy, Dr. Justin completed his 2-year pediatric residency at Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Justin joined Dr. John at Dickson Pediatric Dentistry in July of 2006. Since his residency completion, Dr. Justin has completed many continuing education courses in areas such as laser dentistry and orthodontics. He is also able to provide comprehensive dental treatment with the use of general anesthesia in a hospital setting for children with severe dental problems as well as patients with special needs. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the Nashville Dental Society, Tennessee Dental Society, Tennessee Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Association of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and the Academy of GP Orthodontics. Dr. Justin and his wife Leslie have 3 sons, Jack, Luke and Jon Tyler (JT).
