Gerry Smith

Mr. Smith has more than 24 years of experience in board and system level design with emphasis on embedded Micro-controllers and PLD applications. He has practical working knowledge of design and development procedures as well as manufacturing operations, and has led a variety of projects, for example real-time communications/bus monitors, data collectors, event detectors, microprocessor based peripheral device controllers and I/O channel interfaces. Gerry has worked at CATC, Rational, Axiom, ELXSI and in the US Navy.

Hardish Singh - CEO, President

Mr. Singh has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and software industries. He was an early contributor to the formulation of ITU-T's H.323 standard. Prior to founding ipDialog, Hardish was most recently employed at 8x8, Inc. Hardish served on the board of directors of Vidus, Inc., and was the lead software/systems designer. 8x8, Inc subsequently purchased Vidus. Before 8x8, Hardish worked at AT&T Bell Laboratories. At Bell Labs, Hardish worked on videoconferencing using the ITU-T's H.320 and H.324 standards. Before joining Bell Labs, Hardish worked at General Electric. Hardish holds a Bachelors and a Masters in Electrical Engineering.

Jörg Ott

Jörg Ott, Ph.D., is the co-chair of the Internet Engineering Task Force's (IETF) MMUSIC workgroup. Jörg represents ipDialog at the IETF meetings, provides valuable information on the proceedings at the IETF, and helps direct the research and development efforts at ipDialog. Jörg Ott holds a Diploma in Computer Science and in Economics, and a Doctor in Engineering (Dr.-Ing.) degree. Since 1997, he is an Assistant Professor in the Digital Media and Networks Group of the Technologiezentrum Informatik at the Universitaet Bremen, Germany.

Niraj Jain

Niraj Jain has Over 20 years of experience in broadband networking, VoIP, online services, and computer/networking systems. He is currently VP of Business Development at San Valley Systems, and has held senior positions in business development, marketing, strategic planning, and advanced technology development at 3Com, Prodigy, and Philips. Niraj served as a member of the advisory board for MoreCom, a startup developing systems technology for interactive TV that was recently acquired by Liberate. Niraj holds a Bachelor's and a Master's, both in Electrical Engineering.

Paul Long

Paul Long has more than 20 years of experience in designing and developing telecommunications systems. His areas of expertise include VoIP and videoconferencing communication protocols. Paul has previously worked for Polycom and Smith Micro. Paul holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
