Abe is a graduate of the Broadcasting - Radio program from Fanshawe College (Class of 1994) and is a proud recipient of the Canadian Association of Broadcaster's Award of Merit. Abe was working in the radio industry as a part-time employee after his first year in the Radio program, and in his words, "never really left the College". Upon graduation in April of 1994, Abe maintained his ties with CIXX-FM (the College radio station 106.9 FM) and was hired later, on a part-time basis, as a technician to help implement the automation of the radio station while working at a local cluster of stations in London. His radio career highlights include on-air announcing with a strong focus on radio production, as well as being the Music Director for AM1410.
Abe has completed his Bachelor of Education in Adult Education from Brock University and has been teaching at Fanshawe College since 1998. In 2002, Abe joined his mentor and friend, Barry Sarazin, as colleague, when he was hired as full time faculty and has been Program Coordinator since 2012. His areas of interest and specialty include production, programming and announcing. In his spare time, Abe enjoys singing tenor as a member of The Voices of Broadway Show Choir.

Previously, Brian was the Co-Founder and CEO of lnnoSoft Canada Inc., one of the fastest growing companies in the North American recreation management software market. lnnoSoft was acquired by Constellation Software in 2017. Brian was also one of the Co-Founders of the KW Titans professional basketball team, playing in the National Basketball League of Canada.
Brian was previously the Chair of NorWest Optimist Soccer Club and also coach of the U21 Provincial women's team at the club.

Collyn brings 15 years of professional and friendly customer service experience, he will greet you with a smile and answer your questions with satisfaction. A graduate of Fanshawe, Collyn is happy to be back at his alma mater giving back to the community and helping others find the same opportunities that he has found in London, Ontario.
Courtney has over eighteen years of experience in marketing and communications for both the non-profit and higher education sectors. She has worked at Fanshawe College for fifteen years in the Reputation and Brand Management department holding various positions such as Marketing Officer, Special Project Manager and currently as the Senior Manager of Marketing overseeing the College brand, external marketing strategy, website and customer relationship management functions. Originally from the east coast, Courtney graduated from Dalhousie University with a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Marketing Management. She has continued her technical and leadership training over the years, including graduating from the first cohort of Fanshawe's own Emerging Leaders program. She recently completed an MBA Essentials executive education program from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business. She is a member of the Canadian Marketing Association, and her marketing leadership has been recognized with several awards from the International Association of Business Communicators. Courtney is highly engaged in all aspects of her career and the community. She is an advocate, mentor and fundraiser for a variety of organizations. She sits on multiple Fanshawe operational and steering committees including Digital and eLearning, Microcredentials, FanshaweOpen, External Website, ERP Selection, Military Connected Campus, Signage and Program Advisory - Bachelor of Commerce Degrees. In the community, Courtney continues to give back as a fundraiser for epilepsy awareness, as a mentor for the Women in Communications and Technology London Chapter, as a parent advisor for research projects in Pediatric Neurology for Children's Hospital, LHSC and as a strategic marketing volunteer advisor for Children's Health Foundation. Elliot has been working in the marketing and sales industry since 2014, in both the private and public sectors. He has worked at Fanshawe for the past 6 years as a Community Partnership CRM Marketing Officer. In this role, he provides marketing and promotional support, as well as CRM administrative support, to several internal teams that have regular touchpoints and engagements with external partners, clients and stakeholders.
Elliot oversees community partnerships and sponsorships on behalf of Fanshawe and works regularly with the organizations such as the London Knights, London Lightning and London Majors. He has also worked on large-scale events that have been held in London such as the Juno's and the Tim Horton's Brier.
Originally from Brantford, Elliot completed his undergraduate education at Brock University, receiving a Bachelor of Honours, History degree in 2010. After a brief stint in the construction industry, he came to Fanshawe in 2013 to peruse a graduate certificate Public Relations and Corporate Communications (PRCC). Upon completion of the PRCC program, Elliot worked as a Student Recruitment Officer for Fanshawe before moving to Voices (a web-based marketplace for sourcing voice over work) where he spent two years working as a Partner Account Specialist and then a Strategic Development Manager, EMEA.

Eric was born 1985 in Minneapolis, Minnesota and spent his younger years in the southern USA. He moved to London, Ontario in 1994 and has been a resident ever since with the exception of attending university in Halifax in 2004. He returned to London and began a career as a licensed insurance broker and continued on that path in various capacities for almost 15 years. Eric now enjoys a career in the IT research field and will bring this valued skill set to the board of directors. Outside of work, Eric has a longterm girlfriend and enjoys several hobbies including sports, politics and being a small-time landlord. Kim Whitehead is the general manager of the Woodstock District Chamber of Commerce. The Woodstock Chamber is an advocate for positive change in our diverse business community. One of the chamber's key goals is to strengthen relationships and contribute to building a stronger community by connecting business and community. At the chamber, Kim manages the day to day activities, events, sponsorship, membership and more. Kim served as a volunteer on the chamber's executive committee, board of directors and communications committee before joining the chamber as an employee.
Kim has been an active volunteer in her community, volunteering for the Canadian Cancer Society for 15 years. She spent 11 years on the steering committee for their Relay For Life, four of them as co-chair. During her tenure on the committee, Woodstock had one of the most successful Relays For Life's in Ontario on a per capita basis.
Over Kim's career, she has also volunteered with the United Way and the Ontario Men's Provincial Curling Championship in 2001 and 2009 hosted by the Woodstock Curling Club.

Larry MacKinnon is the Director of Business Development for the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC) where he is responsible for the attraction of new job creating investment, and support for the growth and development of existing companies across several industry sectors. A Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) through the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), Larry has a master's degree in Library and Information Science, a diploma in Political Science, and a bachelor's degree in Economics, all obtained at Western University.
Larry has been a Fanshawe College and Western University instructor in Entrepreneurship and Marketing Research Methods and has operated his own company providing competitive intelligence and market research services to the business community.
Larry is a past Board Chair for Brescia University College and past President of the London Small Business Centre. He currently volunteers as a Board member of the Consider Canada City Alliance, and as a Board member of Fanshawe Global Corporation.

Laura Elliott served as Director of Education and Secretary with Thames Valley District School Board from 2013 - 2019, prior to her retirement in September 2019. Previously she served as Executive Superintendent of Program Services with Thames Valley DSB, Superintendent (secondment) Student Success/Learning to 18 with the Ontario Ministry of Education: Manager of Membership Records with the Ontario College of Teachers; and Superintendent of Education with the Durham District School Board. With a career in education spanning more than 35 years, she was committed to the education of elementary and secondary students as a foundation for college success.
Laura has also served on the Executives of both the Council of Ontario Directors of Education (CODE) and the Public Council of the Ontario Directors of Education (PCODE), President of the Ontario
Public Supervisory Officers ' Association (OPSOA), and member of the University of Western Ontario Senate. She will be assuming the role of Chair, Board of Governors for Ontario Tech University in September 2022.
Currently, Laura is the Executive Director for the Council of Ontario Directors of Education (CODE). Prior to September 2022, she served in the role of Facilitator for the Supervisory Officer Qualification Program for OPSOA, a Liaison Team Member with CODE for the School College Work Initiative, and a Consultant for the Ontario Education Services Corporation.

Following the completion of the Career Development Practitioner Certificate at Conestoga College in 2006, she has gained significant experience as an Employment Consultant within Employment Ontario programs, as well as within the private sector. Leanne is a graduate of the Child and Youth Worker Diploma from Fanshawe and earned her BA from the University of Guelph. Her knowledge, combined with her compassionate and patient nature supports her desire to empower people looking for work.

Liz Gogol graduated from Fanshawe College and Western University in 2010 with the Media Theory and Production collaborative degree/diploma, where she specialized in Radio Broadcasting. She began her radio career as part of the Intern Army for 102.1 The Edge in Toronto where she worked her way from Intern, to Board Operator, to part-time Content Producer and eventually achieved her goal to become an On Air Announcer. This path led her to move from Toronto to London where she worked as Drive Host for 103.1 Fresh Radio and later became Midday Host at FM96 and Y108 in Hamilton. As well, she hosts the syndicated countdown show, "Canada's Rock 20". In the summer of 2021, Liz celebrated her 10 year anniversary with Corus Entertainment. Liz is also passionate about the arts and often reviews films for the Forest City Film Festival as well as shows like ‘Cats' and ‘Rent' that have come to Budweiser Gardens as part of Broadway in London.

Louise Poole is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Chartered Accountant, Chartered Business Valuator, and is certified in Financial Forensics. Louise graduated from the Ivey Business School at Western University with an Honours Business Administration degree.
Louise joined Davis Martindale LLP in 2017 and is a Partner in the Valuation and Litigation practice. She specializes in business valuations for matrimonial and litigation support, tax and estate planning, mergers and acquisitions, financial reporting and economic loss quantifications. Louise has presented several seminars on business valuation topics to lawyers, bankers and business professionals. Prior to joining Davis Martindale, Louise worked in the accounting and business valuation field for 12 years, including eight years of experience at Ernst & Young LLP.
Louise is also involved in the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators as a member of the Young Professionals in Valuations committee, which focuses on creating networking and educational opportunities for young CBVs.

Melissa is a graduate of the Business Marketing program at Fanshawe College (1998) and has a Bachelor of Professional Arts degree in Communication Studies from Athabasca University. Melissa is the Manager of Communications and Engagement at St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital (STEGH). In this role, Melissa is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all communication and engagement functions, as well as establishing collaborative working relationships among internal and external stakeholders. Prior to joining STEGH, Melissa worked in both, a communications and project management capacity for the South West Regional Cancer Program at London Health Sciences Centre. Her position focused on cancer screening, health promotion, population health, and equity. Melissa also worked as a Communication Consultant for the Lawson Health Research Institute - a position that she held for over 10 years.
Over the years, Melissa has received numerous accolades for her work in the communication industry, including an IABC Gold Quill Award, the highest honour a communication professional can achieve. Melissa is a proud supporter of the International Association of Business Communicators and served on the Board of Directors of the local branch for many years. She has also been a mentor in the Larry Myny Mentoring for Success program at Fanshawe College since 2011. Mojdeh Cox is an impact and results oriented community builder and leader. Her dynamic 10+ years of experience working in co-visioning, co-designing and executing political and issue-based advocacy campaigns, and her social policy work equipped her with the analysis and practices needed in community-based leadership roles designed to bring people together. She credits the discovery of her passion and work to Fanshawe College as an alumnus. Mojdeh believes that a supportive, inspiring organizational culture where there are shared values and goals is how cross-functional teams in complex systems thrive. Most recently, her thought leadership on radical accountability has been nationally recognized in her tenure as President and CEO of Pillar Nonprofit Network.

Peter is the principal of John Paul II Secondary School in London. As both an architectural technologist and an enthusiastic educator, Peter points to his hands-on college experience as a launch pad to his teaching career. Through his applied learning at Fanshawe, Peter honed a talent for creative design and learned to ask questions and help solve problems through collaboration-skills he continues to use in his leadership role as principal of John Paul II Secondary School.
Appreciating support of teachers who saw more potential in him than he saw in himself, Peter strives to see the best in every student. While working as a designer, he realized his passion for technology was more akin to education than industry, so he headed to teachers college. Peter then created a successful 18-year teaching career and advocated for the introduction of technology across the London District Catholic School Board curriculum before training as a principal.

Peter Devlin was appointed Fanshawe College's fifth President effective September 2013.
Prior to joining Fanshawe, President Devlin served 35 years in the Canadian Armed Forces and retired commanding the Canadian Army at the rank of Lieutenant General. He has several UN, NATO and Coalition tours and his awards include Orders of Military Merit from the United States, Brazil and Colombia as well as the Canadian Meritorious Service Cross, France's National Order of the Legion of Honour and Commander of the Canadian Order of Military Merit.
President Devlin serves on provincial and national college committees. These include the Ontario Colleges Library Service Board as past president and a member of the Colleges Ontario Committee of Presidents and serves on the Executive Committee. He is a Director on the Colleges and Institutes Canada's Board (CICan), a member of CICan's Presidents Leadership Network and Coordinating Committees, CICan's International Advisory Committee, and a Director on the Polytechnics Canada Board. Peter also serves on the London Economic Development Corporation's Board of Directors, the Canadian Association of Defence and Security Industries and is a member of the lvey Business School Leadership Council.
President Devlin received an undergraduate degree in Honours Economics from Western University, a graduate degree in Strategic Studies from the US Army War College and a certificate in Advanced Executive Management from Queen's University. He has also studied at Command and Staff Colleges of the Canadian Defence Academy and is a graduate of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD.D). He received an Honorary Doctorate from the Royal Military College of Canada.

Rachel Levean grew up in Kitchener, Ontario and moved to London in 2010 where she started the Law Clerk program at Fanshawe College. She graduated from the College in 2011. She has been working as a National Manager at Deloitte in London, Ontario since 2015, where she manages a team of professionals spread throughout Canada who support the Audit and Tax teams internally. She is responsible for providing day-to-day management and coaching to a number of professionals and overseeing the daily operations of this team including designing processes at a national level to ensure optimal client satisfaction. One of the things she enjoys most about this role is getting the opportunity to help grow and mentor many employees as they evolve in their careers. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travelling and being outdoors.
A graduate of the Social Service Worker Program at Fanshawe ('13), Rachael Luby is a Senior Communications Specialist at the Canada Life Assurance Company. In this role Rachael creates engaging content for Canada Life projects and programs, as well as financial advisors across the country to help them share their story and connect with clients. Prior to this role, Rachael was a Communications Specialist at the London Economic Development Corporation (LEDC), leading communications efforts across platforms. Passionate about building relationships, Rachael is an active volunteer who has been involved with Fanshawe's InSPIRE Mentoring Program, Immploy's Mentorship Program, the London Chamber of Commerce, Forest City Film Festival, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Western University, the City of London and Brescia University College.

Robert (Robbie) Nash was born and raised in London, graduated from Western University in 1966 and received his MBA from York University in 1967. In 1967, he landed his first job in the financial sector with London Life and in 1970 joined Nesbitt Thomson. In 1999, Robbie joined National Bank Financial where he worked as a senior investment advisor until 2019.
A Canadian national doubles semi-finalist, Robbie is an avid tennis player who has at least 15 doubles London Hunt and Country Club championships under his belt. Robbie has loved the game of golf all his life, growing up on the greens with his father, the legendary amateur golfer Jack Nash, with whom he won six Ontario Father and Three Sons championships.
Robbie is most proud of his family. He is happily married to his wife Deb and loves to spend time with his six children and seven grandchildren.

As community manager at RBC, Russell Reil is responsible for the general management of four branch locations in London, Ontario. Key mandates include client experience, development of employees and integration of business line partners.
Russell joined RBC in 2018 and prior to this had 16 years of experience at another financial institution and held a broad array of responsibilities. He has significant experience across all aspects of retail banking including advisory, operations, strategy and leadership.
Russell is a strong advocate for diversity and inclusion and has led Employee Resource Groups (ERG) focused on Indigenous employees and their allies, as well as young professionals. He is currently co-chair of an ERG in Southwestern Ontario for caregivers within RBC called iCare.
Russell holds a Business Financial Services diploma from Fanshawe College and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) as designated by FP Canada. Russell is married with two children and lives in London, Ontario.

Sandy began her career in healthcare over 30 years ago as a clinical pharmacist. Since then she has held multiple leadership roles at St. Joseph's Health Care, London and London Health Sciences Centre. In January 2022, Sandy was appointed as the Vice President, Patient Care and Risk Management for St. Joseph's Health Care London. Prior to accepting this role, Sandy served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Alexandra Hospital Ingersoll and Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital. Sandy is passionate about growing and mentoring future healthcare leaders and building a better healthcare system through partnership, collaboration and integration. Throughout her varied and expansive career Sandy has always prioritized the education of future healthcare providers, developing her staff and creating a culture of continuous learning. Sandy recognizes the criticality of leader accountability and integrity as well as humility and humanity. Sandy is a surveyor with Accreditation Canada and a frequent guest lecturer with the Ivey Business School.
Sandy graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and is a licensed pharmacist in Ontario. She competed her Masters in Health Leadership at Athabasca University and is a graduate of the Rotman Advanced Healthcare Leadership Program. She is a Certified Health Care Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders.

Sheila has dedicated her career to helping adults achieve goals in independence, education and employment. She began her career after graduating from the University of Waterloo by supporting adults in an independent living environment. Since 2013, Sheila has been working as an Employment Consultant with Community Employment Services. Terry Zavitz is the founder and President of Zavitz Insurance & Wealth, a 37-year insurance brokerage company specializing in group, disability and life insurance, plus retirement, financial and estate planning.
She gives countless hours of her time to the community and her industry having been the Chair of the Board for LHSF as well as Advocis and Board member for LHSC. She has been involved in numerous committees for not-for-profits and charities.
Terry has been honored with many awards for her work including the Queens Diamond Jubilee, Women of Distinction, Business Hall of Fame and an Honorary Business Diploma from Fanshawe College.

Tim possesses more than two-decade of aviation experience over which time he gained extensive international experience, from the Arctic to Europe, South America, and Antarctica. Since 2011, Tim, alongside his wife Nicole, have been the owner/operators of Anderson Aviation Services Inc. providing aviation services to the general aviation community. Tim has also written article for several aviation publications and is a member of several aviation groups. Tim holds an AME M1/M2 license and is a commercial, multi-engine, instrument-rated pilot and aircraft owner. Currently, Tim coordinates the two-year Aviation Technician - Aircraft Maintenance Program. Passionate about aviation, he imparts his knowledge and enthusiasm to students at the Norton Wolf School of Aviation, where he has been teaching since September 2016. Tim joined the Board of Governors September 1, 2023.
Tim Wharton has been fortunate to view Fanshawe College from a variety of perspectives. During his years as a student at Fanshawe, Tim was involved with the Student Union, culminating with being the Fanshawe Student Union President in 1981/82. He graduated in 1981 with diplomas in Purchasing and Business Administration Marketing. He returned to Fanshawe shortly after graduation to teach part-time in the Faculty of Business. Tim served on the Business School Advisory Board for six years, chairing during his final year.
Since 2012, Tim has been involved with the Fanshawe Alumni Association, currently is the Past President, and he has been a director of the Fanshawe Foundation since 2015. Tim attributes his lifelong involvement with Fanshawe College to the mutual respect that the administration and faculty have with the students. Tim's professional career has been spent at London Machinery Inc., managing procurement, logistics and aftermarket parts sales. Tim spends his time away from the office with his wife, Linda, and their two daughters. Together they have travelled to the corners of the globe. Tim is an avid reader and film lover, with an appreciation for the classics.

Trevor joined Jones Healthcare Group in Sept 2020 as senior vice-president, Medication Adherence.
Trevor's mandate is to grow the global Medication Adherence business through a combination of organic and acquisition strategies. Prior to joining Jones, Trevor spent 20 years at Trojan Technologies where he held a variety of executive roles including CFO and Global Operations.
Trevor has a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Accountant. Prior to joining Trojan he spent five years in senior roles throughout the financial services industry as well as five years in public accounting.
