LAURENCE RASTI

Laurence Rasti was born in 1990 to Iranian parents in Switzerland. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Photography from ECAL - University of Art and Design Lausanne in 2014 and a Master's degree in Fine Arts from HEAD - Geneva University of Art and Design in 2019. Her projects often delve into issues surrounding identity, visibility, legitimacy, and representation. Leveraging her dual cultural background, she explores Swiss and Iranian cultural codes to examine the influence of gender roles in society, as well as the consequences of migration and the lack of respect for fundamental rights.
