Adam Buckholt

Adam has worked in the Guernsey Fund industry for more than 20 years and has a wealth of experience and knowledge specialising in the operational aspects of Fund Administration within a range of Fund structures. Adam began his career as a Junior Fund Administrator at 19 and has built his career from the ground up progressing to sitting on client and company Boards. Over the years he has worked with teams in Fund Accounting, NAV production, Transfer Agency and Client Services through to Compliance and Governance. Adam has utilised this variety of experience whether it has been managing large and small Pricing and TA teams through to working autonomously on bespoke systems for specialised projects. Installing smooth and seamless operational processes provides clients with the peace of mind and confidence that information is always immediately available, always accurate and that all bases are covered, all of the time.

Dan Keaveney

Dan has 20+ years' experience in the finance sector beginning in Dublin with fund administration leading to progressive roles in banking, private equity, investment management across a multitude of disciplines including valuations, accounting, risk management, trading and compliance. An affinity for change and development has seen him seek involvement in significant product and service implementations. Adept at implementing operational efficiencies through understanding stakeholder requirements, he seeks to establish and maintain key external relationships with clients and partners, not least those involved with the governance structure (Board members, auditors etc). He is always scanning new regulation and themes across jurisdictions with a view to evaluating and understanding, in order to prepare and ideally take advantage. As well as holding a Commerce degree (BComm) from University College Dublin, Dan is an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).

Dr. Andy Sloan - Chairman, Founder

Dr Andy Sloan has a strong background in governance, strategy, regulation, and sustainable finance and sits on the Boards of several other local companies. He is a non-Executive Director at Hansard Ltd, a locally owned regulated trust and corporate services provider, and ESI Monitor, a Guernsey based environmental services monitoring company. An economist by background, Dr Sloan is a member of the Institute of Directors and the Institute of Risk Management. Onetime States of Guernsey Economist, onetime Director of Financial Stability at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, and onetime Deputy Chief Executive at Guernsey Finance. Dr Sloan developed Guernsey's Financial Services Policy Framework and is a well-respected figure within Guernsey's financial services community. Dr Sloan is the founder and director of research of the think tank, the International Sustainability Institute Channel Islands, and is managing director of Netherite and Grunweldt Ltd, a climate risk advisory firm. He also established Guernsey's sustainable finance initiative, Guernsey Green Finance, in 2018 and is an expert reviewer on finance for the UN's International Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).

Jody Newark - Managing Director

Jody has nearly 20 years' experience in investment and fund management particularly from an operational and risk management perspective. Her career has been focussed predominantly on both listed and open ended funds established in Guernsey and other international centres, including UCITS, and she has a deep rooted understanding of investment operations and administration across multiple jurisdictions having worked across all areas of the fund management and administration business. She is an analytical problem solver capable of using her knowledge of investment characteristics and regulatory requirements to deliver client focussed solutions with a commercial and pragmatic approach and a ‘can do' attitude. Jody holds a Masters in International Legal Practice from the University of Law and a Masters in Finance from the University of London as well as the Institute of Directors' Diploma in Company Direction. Her professional qualifications include the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), the Chartered Wealth Manager and the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). She is also a Chartered Fellow of the Securities and Investments' Institute. Jody serves as a voluntary director to the Guernsey Housing Association LBG.

Sturdza Richard

Mr. Taylor's background comprises investment management and trading activities combined with portfolio oversight and risk management functions. He currently acts as Head of Trading for Eric Sturdza Investments in Guernsey, a role he has performed since 2010. Prior to joining Sturdza Richard was an Investment Manager at LCF Edmond de Rothschild (now Rocq Capital) for eleven years from 1999 to 2010. In this role Richard was involved in the design, marketing and trading of structured products in addition to managing investment portfolios both for discretionary private clients and collective investment schemes. Richard holds a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from the University of Plymouth and is a Chartered Fellow of the Securities and Investments Institute. Mr. Taylor chairs the Obsidian Risk Management Committee.
