Agnes joined The Mortgage Shop in 2016 and has 12 years financial experience. She gets great job satisfaction in providing a high standard of customer service with all clients to meet their needs and to make their journey a stress free one from first time buyers to re-mortgage deals, and providing and advising on the right protection.
I joined the team at TMS Ballyclare in January 2023 as office administrator not long after returning to my native Doagh having lived in Australia for nearly 20 years. I didn�t make the return alone as I brought my adorable dog Sam with me who keeps me company. While in Australia I worked in a busy medical practice just outside Brisbane enjoying stunning views over to Stradbroke Island. Proud mother to 2 grown up boys Andrew & Calum. When I�m not in the office or caring for my Dad, you will find me at the gym or Ballygally most weekends taking a dip in the Irish Sea, which is just a bit colder than what I was used to back in Oz!

I have worked in the Financial Services industry since 2007, initially with Ulster Bank, working various roles from Bank clerk right through to Mortgage Advisor. I have worked in the mortgage market in some capacity for the last 10 years, and became a fully qualified mortgage and protection advisor in 2014. I was given the opportunity to move to the Mortgage Shop in April of 2019, and I have used my knowledge and experience of the market to ensure my client's journey is smooth and seamless from start to finish.
I am passionate about my clients and building relationships with them and their families, and my priority is to make sure all of my client's Mortgage & Protection needs are catered for.
When I am not in the office, you will find me. Spending time with family & friends. I enjoy travelling as well as watching & playing any kind of sport.

Bronagh joined The Mortgage Shop in 2013 as a mortgage & protection adviser. Having obtained her degree in Accountancy & Finance, she has 15 years' experience working in the mortgage sector. She prides herself on putting her clients at the forefront of everything she does to ensure they get the best deals and also ensure the mortgage process is straightforward for them. Outside work she enjoys spending time with her young family.

Catherine joined The Mortgage Shop in June 2017. Since joining The Mortgage Shop she has enjoyed being able to help both new and existing home owners, giving advice on the best options available. Catherine likes to keep what can be a daunting process as straightforward as possible. Catherine has over 20 years previous experience as a Mortgage Adviser, advising on mortgages and protection requirements. Catherine started her career in Abbey National and laterally Santander. When she is not working, Catherine enjoys spending time with her family and keeping active.

I had been running my own business since 2006 alongside my wife. We sold the business in 2021 after a lot of success throughout the Events industry. I got into Financial services in March 2019 as a Protection Adviser. Throughout this time, I have gathered an outstanding amount of knowledge to do with different kinds of Insurance products. I am a Strabane native and have been working in the Financial Services industry since 2004, starting my career with the Ulster Bank in the town. I spent 13 enjoyable years here and gained my mortgage qualifications in 2014. In 2017, having grown frustrated to being restricted to 1 lender, I decided to make the move to become a mortgage broker as this allowed me to help more clients to get on to the property ladder. Fast forward to 2021 and I was given the opportunity to work back in my home town with one of the largest and most instantly recognisable brands, The Mortgage Shop. I feel this gives me an advantage over the competition and allows local clients access to the same products and customer service that many other towns and cities in Northern Ireland have been used to over the years.
I was born In Turin Italy and moved to Northern Ireland when I was 13 years old. After Leaving Bangor Grammar School I started working for Santander where I was trained in a variety of roles. I recently graduated from Ulster University as a Bachelor of Science. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. I also love traveling and trying new and exotic cuisines.

For my progression I left to join The Mortgage Shop in July 2005 to work as a broker as I believed I could help more people this way by offering a wider range of services. I started my career in Ulster Bank as a cashier in 2002 and over the following 16 years I worked in various different retail banking roles at Ulster Bank. In 2014 I had the opportunity to become a Mortgage Adviser at Ulster Bank, after 4 years in this role I had the opportunity to join The Mortgage Shop NI. The move to The Mortgage Shop has allowed me to access a vast range of mortgage and protection options for my clients that a single bank cannot offer. When I am not in the office, you will find me.

I commenced my career in 2006 when I joined the Mortgage Division within Santander. During my 14 years working at Santander I gained a wealth of knowledge from carrying out different roles within the Mortgage department. In 2014 I gained my Certificate in Mortgage Advice & Practice and from then I have been advising customers on Mortgage products to suit their individual needs.
I joined The Mortgage Shop NI team in early 2020 as a Mortgage and Protection Adviser and I enjoy advising clients during their home buying journey, making the whole process as stress free as possible.
When I am not in the office, you will find me spending weekends away with family or having fun with my husband and two young children.

Michael has been with the Mortgage shop since December 2013 after managing the Belfast mortgage RCC team for 8 years. He has been in Finance since 2000 when he joined the Halifax on a graduate scheme and has had a passion for mortgages ever since. He is currently running the Bangor Mortgage Shop which he finds extremely rewarding as he has built up an excellent reputation as the ‘go to man' for mortgages and protection.

Paul joined The Mortgage Shop in 2015 from Santander, where he had 5 years' experience in the banking industry from retail banking, e-Commerce and finally progressing into Mortgages.
Paul has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience to help customers buy everything from their first to their forever home, investment properties and enjoys helping clients through their customer journey of owning their own homes.
Philip joined The Mortgage Shop from The Co-operative Financial Services in 2011 and has over 30 years' experience in the industry. He has held various roles, including leading, motivating, coaching and actively performance managing a team consisting of a combination Wealth, Protection and Mortgage Adviser's so that budget areas are met in respect of Life, Savings/Investments, Mortgages and General Insurance. His current role involves playing an active part in recruitment whilst delivering a climate, culture and regulatory compliance within our region which delivers business success.

Ryan joined The Mortgage Shop in 2011 from Santander, where he had 12 years' experience including 8 with Alliance & Leicester prior to Santander's merger with A&L. He prides himself on giving sound advice and likes to ensure the mortgage process is kept as simple and enjoyable as possible.
I joined the mortgage shop in February 21 as an admin assistant. I love the fast pace of the office and particularly enjoy the interaction with Customers. Downtime is spent following sport, walking with my dog and attending the gym.
Shona began working with The Mortgage Shop at her hometown branch of Glengormley in 2018 where she provided support to 3 brokers.
She then began working alongside Darren in an extremely fast paced office which allowed her greater interaction with clients and assist in her personal development of working towards gaining her CeMAP qualifications to become an adviser herself.
Shona prides herself on her attention to detail when it comes to the mortgage administrative and compliance tasks, while her customer care is second to none as she builds fantastic relationships with all our clients throughout the mortgage & protection process.
Home life for Shona is always eventful as she juggles her job & studies with family life of raising her two young boys along with partner Chris.
Having achieved a Law Degree and spending a short period of time working in a legal practice, Siobhan realised that Law was not for her. She then spent 4 years with Abbey National building up a broad knowledge of the financial services market before opening The Mortgage Shop in 1992. Her role is to oversee the governance of the business ensuring regulatory standards are adhered to and a consistently high level of service is provided to our customers and to set the strategic direction for the business providing leadership for the management team.
