Deborah Sawyerr is the Deputy Executive Director at the Mercury Theatre, Colchester. Previously I was the Executive Director at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, General Manager at the Bush Theatre and Executive Director at Talawa Theatre Company. Prior to Talawa, she was the Production Manager at Nottingham Playhouse and Palace Theatre Watford. As a Talent Planning and Resourcing consultant, Deborah provides a bespoke recruitment experience for clients and candidates. Deborah has worked with a range of clients placing Trustees, Artistic and Executive Directors as well as members of Senior Management Teams. Deborah hasa range of experience in leading organisational change, developing processes and procedures, and HR management and am an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). Deboraqh is also a co-Chair of Theatre Company Tiata Fahodzi. Gemma Jeynes PiPA Treasurer; Head of Finance at the Wales Millennium Centre Gemma is Head of Finance at the Wales Millennium Centre and is a member of the Senior Management Team. The Centre is a Charity working closely with communities and young people, bringing the arts to a wider audience as well as being a presenting house for large-scale productions. Gemma has worked in theatre finance since 2005, beginning her career at the Young Vic and Lyric Hammersmith before moving into the commercial theatre sector and working on a number of commercial productions including Dirty Dancing, Mathew Bourne's Swan Lake and The Bodyguard. ‘I'm thrilled to be part of the PiPA board and contributing to the great work they are doing to ensure parents and carers can continue to work in the sector they love after having children.'
