Gilles Vallet

Gilles Vallet has been project engineer for the last 27 years. He is the programme leader of the Postgraduate Programme in Project Engineering at Oxford Academics. He has refined the content and pedagogy associated with this program for over 20 years. His professional career has focused on projects, project management and project offices. Starting from systems embedded in submarines and sophisticated telecommunication switching systems, Vallet has consulted with international organisations and companies on four continents across two broad types of assignments: (a) industrial projects (microelectronics, car manufacturing, information systems), and (b) scientific projects (defence, air and space / Ariane). Vallet has also been deeply involved at the European Commission, at CERN (Geneva) and at the French Ministry of Defence. In all, he has either conducted or guided over one thousand projects. He has authored three books published in French (Editions Dunod with more than 50,000 copies sold) and Crossknowledge e-Learning courses (more than 100,000 students on line). Mohammed Slimani

Project Management Engineer. Canadian, Civil engineer graduated from Ecole Polytechnique d'Alger (1977). Currently Senior Planning and Scheduling engineer at SNC-Lavalin International in Toronto with a background of Lecturer at the Industrial Department University of Montreal (Ecole Polytechnique). He was in charge of the new Master degree level course: "The project management: conceptual tools (Earned Value Management System) under software environment (Oracle Primavera Project Planner)" at Ecole Polytechnique (University of Montreal). He has a long experience in Project management consultancy at ISGP (Institut Superieur de Gestion et de Planification in Algiers). His international career has focused on industrial projects and project management, in various areas: Oil and gas, nuclear power plants, hydropower plants, fertilizer plants, geotechnical; geophysical-oceanographic investigation project. He has experiences on EPCC environment (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Commissioning), from both sides; Operators and Contractors.

Nathalie Girard

Nathalie has been project coordinator for 7 years. She graduated in project engineering (Executive Advanced Master in International Projects Engineering of CNAM Paris, 2009). She works with Polytechnique Executive Education and Essec Business School in Paris as tutor and instructor in Executive Advanced Master Leading International Industrial Projects. After a six months voluntary mission in 2012 in Ecuador as project manager in a local NGO, she's now also volunteer as project coordinator at Une Option de Plus, a French and Ecuadorian NGO, which helps its Ecuadorian associations network to contribute to a better education or sanitary conditions of those in need. She previously worked at an innovation agency, FABERNOVEL, for three years as a project coordinator of research and development of collaborative projects for digital innovations. She coordinated 7 of them in parallel including ENCRE, a CAP DIGITAL 32 months project for research in virtual web-meetings, with 12 actors working together : 4 start-ups, 3 laboratories, 2 companies, 1 association and 2 schools.
