Jen moved into the family business in 2015 and her work is predominantly accounts preparation and both individual and company tax returns.
She started her career working at Deloitte, specialising in corporation tax. During her 3-year training contract she prepared tax computations and tax accounting, had regular dealings with HMRC and exposure to HMRC enquiries alongside providing general corporate tax advice.
Jen qualified as a chartered accountant in 2015, passing all exams first time and won the Tom Cunningham prize for the highest annual regional mark in the Principles of Taxation exam paper.
She graduated from the University of Newcastle with a First Class honours in Accounting and Finance in 2012.
