NORTHERN SAFETY - Key Persons
I joined Northern Safety in December 2019 as a Co-Ordinator. My day to day role includes tasks such as liaising with trainers to schedule courses, dealing with customers to meet their training needs, the entering of information into various electronic databases, completing paperwork and other various administrative tasks as and when required.
I joined Northern Safety Ltd in April 2014 following a successful management career in varying sectors, including public services, manufacturing and construction. I am responsible for the day to day management of the company, including supporting the consultancy and training functions of the business. I have experience of supporting the HSE in accident investigations in my previous role as a Detective Inspector for Cleveland Police. I spent 5 years as a HSE Director for a large manufacturing firm involved in deconstruction and construction work, involved in on and off shore work. I offer a pragmatic approach to supporting companies and individuals achieve best practice, not only supporting occupational health and safety but offering full business support including the achievements of recognised standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001. I am a Chartered member of IOSH, an ISO lead auditor and competent workplace noise assessor.
