Beci Jones

Beci has worked at Cerebral Palsy Cymru since April 2019 as the Head of Finance & Operations. Prior to this, she worked as the Business Manager at Sancta Maria Hospital and brings to Cerebral Palsy Cymru over 25 years of experience in finance, covering a range of sectors, industries and organisations.

Caroline Cooksley

Caroline is the Development Director of ACT training where she is responsible for overseeing Business Development, Marketing and Commercial delivery. She has a wealth of experience in employer relations, Work Based Learning and human resource management.

Chris Barber

Chris is a consultant physiotherapist with many years of experience of treating children and adults with cerebral palsy and similar neurological conditions. Prior to joining the staff of the Bobath Centre in London, she worked in various posts including leading the therapy team on the UCL Stroke Unit which was the second dedicated rehabilitation unit for stroke clients in London, she worked in community paediatrics in the borough of Newham, and on the Neurosurgical Unit for the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. Berta Bobath invited her to join the staff of the Bobath Centre in London in 1981, where she worked from 2002 until 2019 as Director of Therapy Services. Currently, she is an independent practitioner providing freelance therapy and educational services. Chris is a Senior Bobath tutor, she has taught thought Europe, in Asia, Africa, the Middle East and South America, and is currently the Vice President of the European Bobath Tutors Association. She holds a Distinguished Service Award from the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy for services to people with cerebral palsy.

Frank Holmes

Frank joined the Charity as a Trustee in 2003 and Chairs the Board. He is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and founder partner of Gambit Corporate Finance LLP, where he specialises in succession planning and mid-market merger and acquisitions. Frank's focus at Cerebral Palsy Cymru is on finance and fundraising.

Heather Holgate

Heather has worked with Cerebral Palsy Cymru as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist since December 2021, and stepped into the role of Head of Therapy in September 2022. Heather has almost over 30 years of experience as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist. Heather has worked with Cerebral Palsy Cymru as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist since December 2021, and stepped into the role of Head of Therapy in September 2022. Previously, Heather has almost over 30 years of experience as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and has worked for The Bobath Centre in London and for the NHS. As an Occupational Therapist, she works with children and families using her Bobath Clinical reasoning skills to promote their development and participation in a variety of areas of life at different ages. As Head of Therapy, she is responsible for promoting the therapy team's ongoing development of excellence and day-to-day practicalities of work.

Jason Llewellyn

He has been the Relationship Director In South Wales Corporate team for the last 18 years and has been responsible for managing a portfolio of 40 clients turning over between £6.5m and £100m turnover. He has experience of working with many clients, developing a deep understanding of their businesses and working closely with them for mutual benefit.

Jennifer Carroll

Jenny has been Centre Director and Consultant Physiotherapist at Cerebral Palsy Cymru since 2006, having joined Cerebral Palsy Cymru in 1998 as Therapy Manager. Jenny has over 30 years' of experience in the field of cerebral palsy and childhood disability. She brought with her a wealth of NHS experience, clinically and managerially, her previous NHS post was Service Manager for Physiotherapy, Orthotics and Limb fitting services for Luton and Dunstable Hospital NHS Trust. Jenny has a keen interest in service development and family-centred services and led the Luton and Dunstable Hospital physiotherapy department to be the first to receive the UK Governments Charter Mark Award. Jenny has always contributed broadly to the field and held a variety of external roles. Previous roles include:

Lisa Tregale

Lisa Tregale is the Director of the BBC National Orchestra and Chorus of Wales and an Executive Board member of BBC Cymru Wales and has over 25 years of experience in senior leadership in the charity sector. Lisa is internationally recognised across the music sector as both a champion for the arts and a real innovator in inclusion and music education through work including the creation of the first disabled-led ensemble in a professional symphony orchestra - BSO Resound. She is a proud mother of two children, one of whom lives with Hemiplegia.

Marc Roberts - Retail Director

Marc joined Cerebral Palsy Cymru in January 2023 as the Head of Retail. Marc was previously the Head of Retail and Enterprise at Emmaus South Wales. Marc brings to Cerebral Palsy Cymru over 20 years of experience in Retail Management and Operations in both commercial and charity retail sectors.

Marie Wood

Marie joined Cerebral Palsy Cymru in January 2023, with responsibility for leading the Fundraising and Communications team. She was previously Head of Revenue Fundraising at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and Director of Development at Wales Millennium Centre. She brings to Cerebral Palsy Cymru over 25 years of fundraising experience and knowledge of fundraising sources in Wales and beyond.

Paul Lubas

Paul was one of the founder parents who made it all happen - his daughter Claire who has cerebral palsy had been attending the Bobath Centre in London as a young child, inspiring Paul to work with other parents to set up a centre in Wales.

Stephen Jones

Stephen has been a Trustee since 2003 and serves on the therapy committee. He also takes a close interest in financial matters. Stephen is Managing Director of Altron Communications Equipment, a medium-sized privately owned manufacturing company. He has a background in strategic leadership within manufacturing industries.

Toby Jones

Toby's daughter, Sienna, has cerebral palsy and has been attending the Cerebral Palsy Cymru's children's centre for specialist therapy since she was 4 months old. He also works in the Welsh Political sector in which he has specialist knowledge in Disability Rights and Legislation.

Vicky Stevenson

Vicky has recently retired from her role as Senior Manager Physiotherapist in Hywel Dda University Health Board. Her clinical background is as a physiotherapist working with children and young people with complex postural needs. Her mantra is "onwards and upwards, and don't forget the children."
