The challenge: The C5H12 sensor with high-sensitivity and low-detection limit as good as 20 %lel (lel: low explosive limitation) under ambient environment is the core of the innovation. Pentane (C5H12) is the most common blowing agent used in the production of polyurethane foams and other foams. It is a dangerous and poisonous gas a smart sensing technology thereof that has not yet been commercialized massively worldwide.
