Adult ADHD is treated by David Lipsig, MD, psychiatrist, board certified in General and Forensic Psychiatry and providing the highest quality of psychiatric services in the Atlanta, Georgia area... Individuals with adult ADHD have often spent a lifetime with untreated symptoms. This can lead to healthy and unhealthy coping mechanisms. As part of the evaluation, together we will determine those coping mechanisms that are healthy and helpful, so that we can help maintain and nurture them. Equally important, we will also determine which are not helpful, and are in fact unhealthy mechanisms. Naturally, our goal will be to decrease and eliminate them.
