Now she's back, like she never left! A transplant from a small college town in Southeastern Pennsylvania and now a Jersey Girl, Denise joined the DelMoSports Crew in 2017 after volunteering here for many years. A former Delco Road Runners Club board member and volunteer coordinator there, she is applying her expertise and zest for life to the triathlon world. Denise is a mother to 2 grown sons, a 'bonus mom' to the 2 sons of her husband and partner-in-crime, Lou Burgese, and also a "Nana" to Parker - her grandson as of May 2021. She enjoys competing in triathlons from sprint to 70.3 distances, as well as trail running and mountain biking. Baking, reading and knitting occupy some of her attention outside of athletics. Besides paying attention to her duties at DelMoSports, she also fits in some classes as a fitness instructor (PiYo, Indoor Cycling). You will find Denise cheering on EVERYBODY wherever she is! You will never find her without a smile on her face, inspired by those around her trying their best while loving life.
Kristy aka "KT" is the first official employee to come on board with DelMoSports. She's a former Pre-School Teacher's Aide and youth athletic coach at Crest Memorial Elementary School. Like her boss Steve, she grew up in North Wildwood, NJ. Went away to college in Florida studied Physical Education and Exercise Science, and is now back in her hometown roots helping produce First Class Triathlons!
With 8 years under her belt at DelMoSports, Kristy plays a big role at DelMoSports. She is the "go to gal" in the office and out on site. You need it? Kristy's got it, thanks to her event "bible." Kristy is a member of the Philadelphia Women Leaders Group.
Outside of DelMoSports, Kristy enjoys catching up with her friends, fishing, boat rides, the beach and traveling. She is a proud mom of her rescued fur baby Jake.
Ryan joined us in 2018 to lead the in-house production of all event timing for DelMoSports. He brings over 8 years of experience in the event timing business as well as in-depth knowledge of the multi-sport and running industry. Ryan has timed over 250 events and has been a part of the timing team for some of the biggest and most prestigious events across the country. He takes a calm and organized approach to event timing and is always ready for the next challenge.
Originally from the Mid-West, Ryan has lived on the east coast for the last 6 years with his Wife, 2 children and rescue pup. He has completed over 40 triathlons including 2 70.3 events and still loves to train and compete... when not timing a race!
Interesting fact: Ryan's son is named after the greatest rock-n-roll band of all time: BOSTON!

Stephen Del Monte is the founder and CEO of DelMoSports, Inc.. A former social worker, youth athletic coach and middle school math teacher, he founded the company in 2004 with his wife Jamie in Wildwood Crest, New Jersey, where they live with their two children. They specialize in elite destination events along the southern New Jersey shore and Philadelphia, with challenging courses, spectacular scenery and amazing vacation opportunities for athletes and their families. Now with over 13,000 finishers annually, DelMoSports' participants travel from around the world and compete at every level, from beginner to elite.
DelMoSports' events include the IRONMAN 70.3 Atlantic City, Women's Philadelphia Triathlon, Atlantic City Triathlon, Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon, MudHen Brewing Co. Half Marathon, Crest Best Running Fest and Escape the Cape Triathlon & Open Water Classic, which was voted the Best Triathlon in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast Regions by Competitor. Escape the Cape was also nominated for Triathlon Business International awards for Best Small and Best Destination Race, and DelMoSports was nominated for Best Race Series. Stephen was recently named "Top 40 Under 40," by the Atlantic City Weekly, Event Director of the Month by Active.com and "an emerging giant in the race industry," by Shore News Today.
