Backyard Bees is an established bee hive rental business, based in the Nelson and Tasman districts. We have been operating for nearly 9 years from Atawhai to Motueka and all areas in-between... We're a family based business, located in Wakefield, Nelson. Nick, Erin and Hamish are all experienced beekeepers and together have many years experience working in both the North and South Islands before basing themselves in Wakefield... ​Then rent a hive from Backyard Bees. We manage the whole hive process, you get the added benefit of honey bee pollination for your flowering plants and fruit trees and get to enjoy locally harvested, raw and natural honey from your hive and the hives in your area.
