Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd., Pune. Has been established on 8th September 1971. During the early period of Bharati Vidyapeeth, Its founder Hon'ble Dr. Patangraoji Kadam needed some finance for establishing his own printing press. He approached local leading bank, which showed little enthusiasm in loaning out Rs.25,000/- to this baby institution. This was very challenging situation for him, with which he dealt successfully by establishing his own bank Bharati Sahakari Bank Ltd., Pune as on 8th September 1971 which Became Multi-State on 29th April 1999 and got status of Scheduled Bank vide R.B.I. letter dated 17th MAY 2002. The shareholder, customer, employee and well-wisher are integral part of the progress of the bank.
